Extremely limited customization. I get that a server may be controlled by company IT, but that is no reason that I can't remove from my view the cameras that don't apply to me. And the feed isn't live. It shows a still image from last view until you chose that camera again. How is this even useful for security?

You can only view 1 live camera at a time. Every other nvr app lets you view mutiple live cameras. This will let you see multiple, but they are static images, not live feeds.

Half the time the cameras don't load or it says connection issues. This is the only app I continuously have issues with.

My cameras almost never load after the initial preview. Seems to be worse when I'm on the lan than when I'm over 4g which makes no sense. The web service loads up fine on the same phone. Even when it does load on the app, the pinch zoom never zooms in where you want, it just randomly picks a spot then you have to scroll to where you want. I emailed support 2 days ago and haven't got a reply yet. I love the software on our server but this app is barely functional. Edit: I turned off hardware acceleration and it works fine now. Using a Galaxy S4 android 5.0.1. I'll see if it also fixes the issue on several Galaxy S5 users as well tomorrow. If hardware acceleration can't run on the top market share android brand, why is is turned on by default?

I've only been able to use it a few times on my phone (galaxy s4). I tried it on two other phones and it never worked. They were galaxy s5 and s6 phones.

I have the app fully functional now, just can't zoom in. Samsung Galaxy Not 8.0 tablet.

The pinch zoom really allows you to see clear detail of the higher resolutions. Also the frame rate is very high in a low bandwidth environment.

I enter the server info and always get an error message that I've need to check the settings. I've only been able to actually connect a few times. Very frustrating!

Also, I realized that the video will freeze after watching for longer then 5 seconds. To resume the video I have to change the orientation of my phone which is very annoying. After doing this for about 2 minutes my phone restarts. This app is far from finished. UPDATE: I left the above review over 4 months ago and there has yet to be an updated version of this app...

Crashes when enabling hardware video acceleration

Doesn't work. Crashes on startup. I'm using Samsung S5 on lollipop. Coworker using Droid has same issue.

Can not connect any longer. Keep getting error message

Was working ok until a recent update. Now it crashes as soon as I open it.

Constantly loses servers when the internet crashes. Also when I add a new Server it overwrites the original one. Can't input more than one server at a time. Contacted support, great people, but no fix. Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Tried another Note 4 and same problem. Hmm possible phone or OS issue? Android 4.4.4.

A very good tool but has several annoying issues with the Android version. For instance, no zoom or pan functionality works on the Android version but when working with the same application on my IPhone everything is much better. Please fix.

Every time there's a network issue or it can't connect, if forgets your sites and re-ads the demo site and you have to reenter all the information. Very frustrating.

The app is setup very nicely. The search works well too. Has some minor glitches. Would be nice if they also integrated audio streaming.

See my server but can't access any cameras. Maybe I am missing something ***UPDATE***** contacted support and and they were very helpful. it turns out i was on an ancient version and needed an update which Daniel did. with a few teaks i am ready to go. now if i could only pinch-to-zoom... maybe next update..

Update: Problem resolved and the app is now a very valuable tool for me. I normally don't right reviews but this is frustrating. As long as I'm at the site there's no connection problems. Once I leave the site, I can login to the server but the cameras never load. It doesn't matter connection speed or location the cameras don't load. After spending the money on the software upgrades this is extremely irritating.

It took a bit longer than originally anticipated, the Android App is finally here. Very solid app, comes right up and shows me live and recorded video from all of my cameras. The map support is awesome. A few things I would like to see would be support beyond JPEG images and pinch/zoom support. Other than those two things, this is a very solid app.
