Firstly choose a language you want to practice, then select your native language. you can combine any two languages within the program. Languages include: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, even languages such as: Indonesian, Chinese, or Vietnamese, and much, much more. Be sure you have chosen the right language you want to learn and your first language, otherwise the Android Text-to-speech games will not work for you.


Train

The most important feature of Voc4u is the “Train” button. Here you will say aloud translation of a word stored on the blue bar (on top) or perhaps even in your memory. If you cannot translate, or you are not sure about the translation, press the “don’t know” button. If you use the application in the right way (correctly using the buttons “know” and “don’t know”) the application will more often repeat the words you’ve had trouble with. Important repeat words are marked in red color. This program is similar to writing down your vocabulary onto paper and hiding one side with your hand, trying to guess what is under it. The difference is that the program will dynamically record how much progress you make.


Dictionary

This application can do even more for your training… after installing a new lesson (which usually have more than 250 words) it is split into train list and waiting list so that you will not repeat all the words together, but practice them step by step. Judging by how much progress you are making the app will automatically add words from the waiting list to the train list. In the section marked “Dictionary” you can change this behaviour, manage lessons (installing or uninstalling), or move words between the train and waiting list. Words can also be deleted, but what you might appreciate more is adding your own custom words.


Learn by games

Teacher of nations Jan Amos Comenius taught with gaming, and her too you can make learning fun with games. Voc4u contains 3 Different games, one where you have limited time to choose the right picture or correct translation of a word. Still fun, but a bit more difficult memorizing game is the spelling game. if you are unsure about a translation, wait seven seconds and report it! Thank you for your help keeping the Voc4u words database the best ever. ...How quickly you answer and the number of correct words you get, gives a score which you can compare with others who are learning all over the world. The score you achieve will help to increase your reputation and to open up the next levels. You can also see mistakes you have made and then add them to your train list.


Chat

Between top function also belongs Voc4u Network where you will chat with other users, and you will improve language altogether. You will create a your-self-advertise and other user can find you and contact you or you can contact others. Advertise contain your reputation (based on games) as well, that will provide you will chat just with the user who have similar language-level like you and will not disturbing you during conversation.
