It is especially good for children who are visual learners and have a good memory for what they see and read for themselves. If the child is an auditory learner, reading to him or her will work in a similar way.
Besides what are considered classics, there is a plethora of books for children that are educational, pleasing, fun and completely timeless. From Dr. Seuss, to Robert Munsch, to Beverly Cleary, and many wonderful children’s authors whose books will never grow old, there is something for everyone.
Even as kids go through their teen years, the books they read as they go from children’s books to more adult books will continue to help them develop in the same way that children’s books do.

I downloaded this app for my three year old, I start recording a story (after downloading a second barcode reader.) and I can't record more than two minutes at a time, I figured it would just take a few minutes, and I would do it when I had some extra time. However, when I was finished I played the book for him and was very disapointed. It just played my recording. So I don't see why I should scan the book if it's not accompanied by pictures. I might as well just record myself reading. This app is a waste of time

Open app, press start, scan bar code. It then opens the android memo recorder to record you. Saposedly when you scan the same bar code it will play back the recording, but that hasn't worked for me. Here's where this app is lacking: 1. When you first scan the book, it recognizes the title but doesn't name the audio recording accordingly. 2. The app doesn't keep a list of the books you've recorded to choose from, you have to scan, which doesn't work very well.

Im trying to use this app but i had to download a different barcode reader even though i already had one. Then as im reading the book and recording it this prompt comes up in the middle of reading it and it stops my recording. So after i get to actually record the full childrens book that takes about 3 mins to read i'll let you know what i really think about this app.
