Radio Texel is de lokale omroep van Texel. Van de boot tot de vuurtoren...elke meter zijn wij in de ether!


Sinds de oprichting op 13 mei 1989 zenden wij dagelijks programma’s uit, dankzij zo'n vijftig vrijwilligers. Onze programma’s variëren van nieuws en muziek tot sport, cultuur, natuur en historie. Ook religie (o.m. kerkdiensten op zondag) en de politiek (o.m. commissie- en raadsvergaderingen) komen uitgebreid aan bod. Jongeren krijgen de kans om ervaring op te doen en/of zelf programma's te maken. Kortom, Radio Texel is een echte lokale omroep met aandacht voor alle facetten van de Texelse samenleving. Radio Texel is the local broadcaster of Texel. From the boat to the lighthouse ... every meter we're on the air!


Since its founding on May 13 1989 we broadcast daily programs, thanks to some fifty volunteers. Our programs range from news to music to sports, culture, nature and history. Even religion (i.a. church services on Sunday) and politics (i.a. committee and council meetings) are discussed in detail. Young people the opportunity to gain experience and / or create yourself programs. Overall, Radio Texel is a true local broadcaster with attention to all facets of the Texel society.
