WD&D tekst, foto brocante hout

Wij zijn begonnen met houten kandelaars, spreukborden en houtenkistjes en hebben nu o.a. fakkels, plantenbakken, kratten, vogeltillen, waterputten en molens in ons assortiment.

We maken zelf tekstborden, tekstplankjes en wanddecoratieborden, hout accessoires van gebruikt hout. Gebruikt hout is een mooi, maar ook een grillig product. Geen enkele houten product is dan ook precies hetzelfde. Dat maakt het ook zo leuk.

De tekstborden, de tekst plankjes, de woondecoraties en de houten accessoires producten zijn dus ook uniek.

We vullen ons assortiment regelmatig aan met nieuwe produkten. Houdt daarom onze website en de sociale media altijd goed in de gaten, zodat u altijd op de hoogte blijft van noviteiten.

Daarnaast restylen we oude meubeltjes en andere houten producten, die we weer hip en eigentijds maken. Van de meubeltjes hebben we er altijd maar één, tenzij anders vermeld. Ook restylen we in opdracht meubelen, heeft u nog een oude meubel liggen, u heeft geen tijd hiervoor, dan kunt u ons altijd bellen of mailen.


Wat is nu eigenlijk Brocante?

De meeste mensen hebben vast wel een keer van de term "brocante" gehoord en daar heeft een ieder zo zijn of haar beeld bij. Maar veel verder dan "iets met oude meubelen" komt men vaak niet in de omschrijving. Brocante is echter veel meer dan dat! De term komt oorspronkelijk uit het Frans en betekend: rommelmarkt. Een inrichting met vrocante betekent dan ook dat men gebruik maakt van meestal 2e hands, 3e hands of zelfs 4e hands meubelen en woonaccessoires.

In tegenstelling tot antiek mogen brocante spullen er doorleefd, versleten en zelfs verweerd uitzien. Met andere woorden, het product, het produkt mag uitstralen dat het door vele handen is gegaan en dus gebruikt is. Dit geeft karakter, charme en een romantische uitstraling aan het produkt. Het produkt toont aan dat het geleefd heeft en het één en ander heeft meegemaakt. Dat is wat brocante zo mooi maakt...... Soms is een brocante artikel te oud en verweerd, zet men het daarom in een nieuw verfjasje om het artikel zo weer bruikbaar te maken.

What exactly Brocante?

Most people have probably heard once the term "flea market" and there has image everyone has his or her. But much more than "something with old furniture" often leads into the description. However Brocante is much more than that! The term originally comes from French and means: flea market. A device with vrocante also means that one usually uses 2nd hand, 3rd hand or 4th hand furniture and home accessories.

Unlike antiques flea market stuff may have lived, worn and weathered look even. In other words, the product, the product radiate it has gone through many hands and is thus used. This gives character, charm and a romantic feel to the product. The product shows that it has lived and experienced the one and the other. That's what makes antiques so beautiful ...... Sometimes a flea article too old and weathered, they put it therefore a new paint coat so as to make the product usable.
