Displays the day of the week and month side by side in your status bar.
Date Status Bar 2 shows the current day and month in the top status bar. The date fits right in and appears as if its part of the Android OS unlike some apps.
The month can be displayed in 2 formats.
1. As a number i,e 03 for March
2. As English 3 characters i.e Mar for March

Looks great imho. Could use color choices (only green and white now ) and day of week. Glitch: creates double notification in notification window. Choice to remove from notification window would be better.

I installed the Date in Status Bar and Date in Status Bar 2 and had similar results. I noticed that memory and CPU usage was high for a simple app. The memory usage was at about 4MB, as soon as the app is opened I am assuming due to the ads that are displayed the memory usage goes to 20MB. It continues to use 20MB until I use clean Master to clear memory then it goes back down to 4MB. Also Using Battery Doctor the CPU usage is at 0.77% I used another app DateBar which uses far less resources it uses about 3.3MB constantly and only 0.15% CPU Usage. Overall it displays the date and can change colors but uses to much resources. I will be using the DateBar which gives you more format options, colors, no ads and uses far less memory and CPU.

Yes it works but it's a little buggy. When I choose to show both the month & date, it shows double info when I wipe down the status bar. Also, adding an option to show the year would be also nice. So it could look something like mm/dd/yy or yy/mm/yy.

Great app, does what it's supposed to but takes up two lines in the drop down menu on my galaxy s3. Also would be nice to have the day of the week abbreviated with it. Please fix and I'll re-rate 5 stars.

I've just had to go into the app to make it change date from 28th to 31st. It's happened before too. What could be stopping it from updating automatically?
