This is the worst bank I've EVER been with, agrees btw about BoA now there was a bank that cared,I too thought that WF was going to be an improvement to BoA... No... If you're looking for a bank that supports you and protects you properly, don't look here... We lost WAYYYY to much...
Didn't think it was possible to make mobile banking any worse but they managed to do it with this new app. At least the old one worked, on the few occasions I can get this new one to open without crashing it simply denies my login and tells me to use a desktop computer... What's the point of a Mobil app telling you to use a computer. Would give 0 stars if I could. I want BofA back.
Time for a new bank. I tried to give Washington Federal a chance thinking that Bank of America was great and Washington Federal would continue down those lines, but nope. The absolute worst bank I have EVER been with, and this so called app was the last straw.
I just downloaded this app the only issue i had was i forgot my security questions other then that i was able ro log in after i changed my security questions right away another thing I feel people maybe confused when trying to log in your not suppose to use your entire email as your user name just the first part of your email whether its your name or what ever, so many ignorant haters here so quick to jump in with their own arrogance...
I love it. People are not giving it a chance and are jumping to conclusions! It works great a smooth. Its even better then the old one.
This app is probably even worse than the other app. I thought by updating it they'd make it better & likeable. I figured since a lot of people, including me, were complaining about not having the correct balance & showing what was pending, that they would have it for this app but nope. Half the time it doesn't even let u log in. It'll ask you one of your security questions & then say your answer is incorrect... It's rather frustrating! If I didn't need to check my balance here & there then I'd uninstall.
Great that I can see deposits and withdrawals and current balance. I don't have a running total to see where my balance changes exactly. Incredibly annoying. Don't download waste of time
The password I chose according to their own rules wouldn't work for unknown reasons, 20min trying different ones before one worked. Security questions and answers isn't recognizing my answers...stuck. One problem after another since this update, and when I have gotten it to work it's worse than anything I've used in the past. Everything no matter how simple takes longer and is buggy.
The worst app I have ever had for mobile banking. My sequrity answers don't work and if you try to keep logging in it completely kicks you out. What a bunch of BS
Very glitchy. Keeps saying I have to call a number to verify info. Keeps saying my answer doesn't match what they have on file. I know I have the right answer. Also, don't like the new layout. Wish it told me my balance in-between transactions like before.
After reading some of the idiots responses after the first couple of days I logged into the website and filled out the new security requirements and I say again the new security requirements for agreeing to online banking, the android software installed without issue and security questions were easily dealt with. The interface looks simple and straightforward my connection was smooth and responsive. I may change my to a 5/5 if international travel verifies as easily.
If updating means making the app lose all functionality this is it. Half the time it says an unspecified error occurred and won't even let me log in. Sometimes it crashes when I try to log in, and rarely, very rarely can I actually gain access to my account. The wallet "instant balance" sometimes takes a minute to show an inaccurate balance. Pending transactions are never shown. What a waste. Totally worthless.
This is the stupidest app ever....I haven't been able to log in even after I activated my account on a desktop...it keeps saying can't validate your account at this time please call I have already done that and it still doesn't work.
Maybe they should look at other bank's apps before designing or updating their own. They are making it more difficult and time consuming to login by making more password restrictions and you have to answer security questions every time you login. The app still doesn't really let you manage your accounts either. It is a very primitive app that allows you to do very little. The developer needs to be fired. Too bad B of A sold my account to these fools.
Waited for 3 days for the update/upgrade, complete inconvenience and now can't even log on to the new app..I'd like to go back to bank of America.. Called wf and they said sorry we are working on this issue if I would like my account summary to just call...THE HOLD time IS ridiculous! IF ITS NOT FIXED by Friday, I'm changing banks. The old app was perfectly fine.
Downloaded app and it won't take my security question. called the customer service number and got a recording. Noone has called me back in 2 days! Not a good app
Works occassionally but only after revalidating all the security questions. Fire the developer. Time to find a bank that's not always going backward.
I too had trouble logging in and ended up changing my password. I don't like the new transaction layout page, I would like to see my balance in between each transaction like before. The only thing I do like about the new app is the wallet feature to check my balance without logging on.
This is the worst mobile app. I truly regret b of a sold out to them. They still using 80's methods and technology.

I've been trying to login to my account via web&app for the last 2 hours! Neither of them work! The 1 time I did get the website to let me log in, it didn't show me a balance for my account, and would not tell me if all the numbers it was displaying were debits or credits. I have waited for a couple weeks to see if they would iron this out. HELLO WAFED? It is the 1st of the month & people have bills to pay. All of bills this week will be late because I can't balance my books. Switching banks tomorrow!!!!
First it was a new debit card, now this downgraded app. Pain in the butt to setup. Must answer security question every time you login. No balances shown before or after each transaction. Forced to use extended phone verification. Congratulations WaFed, you're about to be uninstalled(app and bank).
Before you get to frustrated. I had to go to the main web site update all of my information and security question but it does work

Any new app takes some figuring out. I think seeing your account balances without having to log in is worth the effort to learn the other pieces I use. Easy enough. Instant balance is perfect.
And I have apps I don't even want! Seriously why a security question every time? My husband and I both have to have this app on our phones and your questions are a serious hassle EVERY TIME! Over it and I have only been on twice! Needs to be changed.....ASAP! Ready to go to a different bank.
Finally got the app working! I called the local bank manager and he walked me through step by step to get by the glitches. It works now, but so far I don't like the set up. If you're still not able to log in they said you might have to re enroll using the browser on your computer/laptop. Try calling your local bank and talk to the manager.
Garbage.. you guys shut us down for three days for this crap, can't even log on without being asked a security question I didn't even chose.
Great new app! The "get your balance instantly feature" is cool.
Doesn't recognize my info only on my laptop that's the whole point of mobile banking... Ugh. Worst update ever.

The account transactions don't show check numbers anymore. Wasn't able to view my account for 7 days! This whole process was a fiasco. I will be changing banks. Now that I am able to access my account, the check numbers aren't reflected in the transactions. Ridiculous.

You can't even sign in. It says error and gives you a phone number.
Great New app much more secure and easier to use them tha old app. Way to go Washington Federal!
