Dr. Emily E. McMahan is an exceptional audiologist who loves helping her patients enhance the quality of their lives. While she assists with a wide range of Alaskan audiology needs, one major part of her practice is of tinnitus evaluation and management.

Dr. McMahan attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2009. She furthered her professional education by obtaining her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia in 2013. She did her residency in Anchorage and has been applying her expertise to her patients in the Pacific Northwest for several years. Whether you need audiology testing, hearing aids, or assistance with managing tinnitus in your daily lives, Dr. McMahan is qualified to assist you!

She has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. McMahan loves the people and the beauty of Anchorage and is proud to call Alaska her home. Her hobbies include exploring Alaska, hiking, traveling, baking, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dogs. She serves as a board member for a local dog and puppy rescue. She is also involved in several community outreach events.
