About Smart WiFi Switch Pro
Smart Switch is a intuitive WiFi SSID task-bar notifier which lets you know to which WiFi network you are connected to.
When you are not connected to a WiFi access point Smart Switch lets you know to which Data Network, if any, you are connected to.
It's also perfect for people who have more than one WiFi access point, either at home or at the office and automatically connects to the access point with the stronger signal.
New (Beta) function Pause during data activity will attempt to determine activities such as VOIP calls & data transfer & prevent SSID switching until they are finished. (Please note that this function is power hungry)
It uses android's built in WiFi configuration so once you have already connected to a WiFi access point it can be used for automatic Smart Switching.
Android 4.1 or greater is required for access point switching to function correctly
Full network access permission is needed to access and change the state of the various networks.
Location permission is required for access to certain Wifi Features used for switching
Read Phone State permission is needed to prevent wifi switching during a phone call
Absolutely no personal information is gathered or transmitted in anyway.

Doesn't always work. I have 2 WAP at home and even though I have the program set to switch when there is a 10db difference between them, it doesn't always happen even if the 2 WAPs are 20db different. Update 4/29: App still not working consistently. Works fine for a while and then just stops.

Update: it works perfectly now with the latest update. Keep up the good work, simple app, but so beneficial with wifi points you often switch between. It use to work perfectly, but no longer works. Updated per instructions and still the same unfortunately.

I have two modems in my house because when our Internet was installed our provider got an ethernet cable and ran it through the walls to the other side of the house. We always had 2 connections and switching between them every time we changed positions was a pain. Now with this app it is a breeze. All I have to do is watch as it automatically connects to the strongest connection that is near me. Simple but great!!!

You create an app that's supposed to solve the problem of making the users check for better signals, but make it only time interval dependant rather than giving it a signal strength trigger as well? Oversight?

Does what is says well. I tried a few other apps and switches, but this is by far the best. Switched nicely between my two networks, without any problems. No more dead spots. Would give it ten stars if I could

I have 2 access points in my house and am constantly going into settings to switch the WiFi connection - every time I walked from one end of the house to the other, I had to go in a change it. This app is a miracle! Works perfectly - simple to setup! Excellent! Thank you!

Thus is a nice app and works great. But the only downfall of it is the battery consumption it uses. I only been up and phone off charger for almost 2 hours and from 100% battery life to 82% that's not good. Looked at my battery usage on the phone it says that this program was running 49% of the time phone has been on. And that's way more than my screen being on. So fix this problem then I will come back to it. Btw the phone oils a Samsung Galaxy 6

Very well done, very convenient. Would have given it 5***** if didn't need to turn on locations. It consumes to much battery with locations on, I'm running Android 7.0 I thought turning location on only affected the 6.0 oh well good app anyways.
