Any type of poem is fine to post on Poet's Corner, but if you need some inspiration or help some good beginning poem types are -
Free Form - Just write whatever you are feeling, there's no right way to write a free form poem
Haiku - The 5-7-5 poem. These poems use syllable counts for their structure. The first line consists of 5 syllables worth of words. The second line has 7 syllables and the last line has 5 syllables. For Example:
Poems can be fun
If you write them with your heart
So write some poems
Rhyming Couplet - This poem type has each line rhyme with the next line. For example:
Summer has come and with it the bees
Buzzing about in the shade of the trees
Odes - Praise something! Raise your glass! Fill your tankard! Put on your tri-cornered cap and harken back to the time of heroes.
Love Poems - Get in touch with your romantic or tragic side. Try to express how you feel in words.
There are many more poetry types but there really are no rules to how to write a poem. Write what you feel!

Please update Poet's Corner. This is what I've been looking for, an app that will never get me bored. PETITION TO ADD THIS ON. (1) Add a 'view count' corner please. Because not all poets give feedbacks, but at the very least we would be thankful because we know people read our works. (2) Update settings. Please put on day & night version of the theme. Options for pictures & bgm. (3) Update the Profile corner. Where we could put our motto or fav. lines, or something about us, country and gender. THANK YOU!!!

Could there be a way to expand my profile so that I could add a picture of myself. I also agree with being able to search for people because I feel like alot of good poets are being overlooked unless you post everyday and in huge volumes no one is going to scroll that long through an endless list of people.

I see allot of people complaining about how they don't get commented. I think there should be a views system implemented because allot of people don't comment but they do read your work. I'm one of those people that read and keeps scrolling I don't know what to say or what to add so most of the time I just read. This is a wonderful app that had helped me become a better writer, helped me thru serious depression and in general made me feel like part of a community. Stop leaving negative comments cause creativity isn't measured by the number of comments you have but by the number of poems your write.

Put a price on creative expression? You should never have put bars around our discerning designs in the way you have... If you kept the amount of poems open and asked for donations, I would have been happy to contribute, but it feels like highway robbery. To the developer if you could incorporate delete option for commenting.And another beneficial feature would be notifications built when someone comments or responds to our poems.Right now its a manual process to check comments.Besides this the app is really awesome.

Could you please incorporate a "delete comment" button as well. Sometimes while commenting, the phone gets freezed and one comment gets posted on a poem twice or thrice and since there is no delete button, we can not delete the repeated comments. This makes the poets frustrated to. I hope you will look into this. So far I love PC.

I came back to this app remembering how great it was and it just seems like they made no improvements at all and it worst then it use to be. It's really disappointing! They have all this potential for this app and they are throwing it away. Nice!
