Sorry guys, but take a cue from the MyCiTi Cape Town app. Please just give them access to your system, so the user can topup via their app (ps they actually use the nfc tech built into modern phones....) because I fear, judging by your app, it's gonna take years for you to get to that. I actually reinstalled this app just to be able to tell you this. Uninstalling immediately....

Some passports have letters and we can't type it. Why only registering and not going straight using the app first?

This is a great app that is undermined by crashes. Constant background running causes excessive battery drain even when app is not used.

Comletely inaccurate information. Tells me the next bus is 31 min away, only to arrive 6 min later, and vice versa. Made me miss my bus by not being in sync. None user friendly menu layout and complicated methods for doing simple tasks.

Please explain why I must "register" to obtain information readily available on your (mediocre) website. So, you promise not to share my personal information you don't need in any case, why fkn ask for it then. Who cares who I am if I'm prepared to pay to use your unreliable service? I have a MyCiti card, but didn't need to supply my ID number to get it? Deleting this attempt at invading my privacy and identity theft. I can get flight schedules and arrival/departure information on airlines' websites!

Drains battery by constantly doing location updates, even when not necessary. Also dont understand the need to collect private info such as name, ID number, passport number, cellphone number - even if you don't pass it onto others - why should it even be on your servers? There is no good reason to collect it.

The app should have a better name. People will search for cape town when looking for apps related to Cape Town, transport cape town perhaps. Upon registering it says email optional and then forces you to enter an email .. its not optional. When sending your one time pin it says check your email but it actually smses the pin to you

Overly complicated UI. No overview of timetable information. I just need to know all future times without having to click next departure to see them all. WHY do you need phone numbers, emails, id numbers and passport numbers to register users. You're giving public transportation information that is freely available on other platforms - why need to authenticate people? Privacy policy states that you'll give info away to anyone who could "improve my services" - dodgy as! I'll stick to unofficial MyCiti app.

Thank you for your response, once getting past why my personal details was needed, very easy to use and enjoyed how the app found my location gave me walking distance to the nearest point of transport, pricing and arrival time. One small thing, using a Samsung S4 I found I made a few errors trying to add the information required as often the buttons was hidden behind my keyboard. Still very impressed. Well done!

I wanted to find a nearby bus stop and remembered about this app. Was initially put off by all the permission requests (like permissions to call numbers), but decided to bite the bullet and try it. Maybe it was just an over-zealous developer who requested too many permissions! Unfortunately for the app, the very first prompt I received was for my phone number. There is no reason why an app such as this should need my personal information unless its main goals are information harvesting / identity theft / tracking. No other app requires this type of information purely for "authentication" purposes, and I have therefore already uninstalled.

Why on earth would anyone have to register to use an app that provides information freely available elsewhere? I downloaded it and installed it, but the registration function does not work. "Select country" it says, but there are no countries to select and it does not bring up the keyboard to type anything in. The telephone number box does not accept a valid cell phone number. This app is junk.

The selection criteria does not work.. selection meaning choosing to travel by bus and only choosing to show golden arrow(ticked box) but then golden arrow does not show up
