Official contest rules!

All users who download the app can participate in our treasure hunts.

New treasure hunts are always announced one week in advance. We reveal which country and the name of the city where the treasure hunt will take place.

One of our representatives will be on location and manage the treasure hunt in real time. Seven clues or more will be presented in each treasure hunt to narrow the search down.

The last three clues will reveal the exact location of the treasure, in descending degrees of difficulty. The final clue is very easy and will lead the majority of the participants right to the treasure. The first person to find the treasure wins the grand prize.

Keep yourself up to date by allowing push notifications from the app, you will then receive clues as soon as they are released.

If you go treasure hunting with your friends, make sure all of you have the app downloaded on your phones. No app, no treasure!

The clues will be published with shorter time spans when the opportunity to find the treasure is approaching. When you have solved one of the three last clues, make your way to the location of the treasure quickly. If the treasure isn’t there, await the next clue. There is a 30-minute time span between the three last clues.

Our treasures are not buried or hidden in strange places; they are in fact a person! The person can be a female, male, old, young… If you think you have found the treasure; ask the person “Do you have the treasure?”. If positive, show your World Hidden Cash app and the treasure is yours!

A new clue is added everytime a participant has found the treasure, in order to update other participant about what is happening.

A push notice goes out to all participants when the treasure hunt is finished.
