Yandex Browser (alpha)

In previous version checked some sites like, Cricbuzz, Kannada news online etc. Ad blocking worked perfectly, but in this update none of these ads blocked.

Thanks for answering. I also think there's a small bug, it doesn't save passwords for websites anymore.

This is the definition of a perfect browser. Love the data compression, page translation, add-on support, Yandex Zen, and tabs at the bottom. Only thing that I would suggest is an option to block third-party cookies, which would greatly improve privacy.

why I can't comment on Facebook? the keyboard doesn't appear.

Зависает на любых сайтах, страница не прокручивается, строка с адресом и настройками не появляется. Через какое то время отлипает. Clear data никак не влият.

This is the only Android browser that show me the real desktop view of any website, and I like the multi windows view that fills and use best the space on the screen.

Great Browser! Would love to see a search bar widget like chrome has. Saves some time since the browser itself always takes a little time to open up, with that it could load in the background while you can already type in your search string.

At first this Browser gives me a best quality of browsing. but suddenly it change.. everytime i tried to open the App. the app automatically force close without knowing what the reason is.. i already reinstall it but still no luck. give me a quick troubleshooting guide and i will make it 5* when it fix.

This is a best app browser in my life...its fast,secure and easy to use but I only can't give 4 star because there a small problem with this browser...when I download any games or video I cannot seen the progress the download I only can't see it on deteskop so I hope you know how to fix its...thank you once again and keep it up

Always crash/FC after the last update

Тормозит при пичати текста в gmail, просто ужастно стало !!! Я пользуюсь тремя версиями яндекса , альфа, бета, и просто браузер , делаю это что бы не объединялись три разных ящика на гугле . А так же стоковым браузером и UC , браузером , на альфе тормозит в последнее время ну просто караул , на бете тоже , на обычной версии яндекса ситуация как погода , иногда тормозит иногда нет . на стоковом браузере почти нет тормазов , на юке тоже нет .

Everything's perfect. Just one problem. We can't cancel a Download even after clearing data. Just one way is to reinstall. There's just a notification with the file name and you can't click on it. And adding options to support external download manager will be great. Ty

My favorite browser. My only issue is that Yandex forces you to use only their proprietary download manager, which is inferior to what is available. We would like to choose for ourselves which download managers to use like Advanced Download Manager, Download Accelerator Plus, and IDM.

One if the 6 best android browsers along with maxthon, apus browser, uc browser, opera mini and fm mini,... Being able to chose news source sites to display on the front page is fantastic. I still want a page or section displaying my downloads.

It's a great Browser that lets you install many Opera and Chrome extensions ... for sure, the best Android Browser! However, I would like to make suggestions for the upcoming versions. The "close all tabs" option would need a pop up confirmation, in fact I accidentally clicked it and lost all my tabs. Even a restore function for just closed tab might be useful. In the "'history" menu you need a search function so you can search for the address of the visited sites and the date that interests you. In addition, many extensions for Chrome and Opera, which change the look of the menus, are not compatible with Yandex ... would be interesting if you could make them compatible. For the rest, exceptional browser, with great stability.

Excellent apps

one of the best browser out there :) design is very good and very fast plus add on support is just marvelous thing it would be great if you allow all extension to install from Chrome store currently some extensions give blocked by administration error.

Add a separate download section where i see all my download

UPDATE: Since yesterday's update, it crashes every time I try to type in the address bar. So no longer able to use it. 3-Star rating is from my previous usage experience. PREVIOUS REVIEW: This is looking really promising so far. I really loved Opera's text-reflow, but had to abandon that browser, when they started filling it full of pointless junk. Being based on Opera, the Yandex browser seems to be the only other browser offering that brilliant text reflow and, while it also has some of the same pointless junk (called 'Zen recommendations' here) as Opera, it's easy enough to turn off in Settings. This Alpha version also adds support for extensions, which is another massive plus. For an Alpha version, it also seems very stable. I've only come across one annoying bug so far: I've got LastPass app installed as well as the browser extension in Yandex Alpha and, 2 or 3 times, when I've typed in a query in the browser's address bar, I've got a cryptic error message (forgot to note exact wording!) and, on checking the browser settings, have found that my default search engine has spontaneously changed to 'LastPass Search Engine' (of which there are multiple entries in the search engine choices). I'm not sure whether the fault for that lies with Yandex or LastPass and, given how absolutely crap LastPass is on mobile, I suspect the latter. This (and other) minor annoyances aside, Yandex Alpha looks a very promising browser. I look forward to these features making their way to the release version. (PS: Wow! Finally new line support in Play Store reviews. It's like living in the future!)

This is the most beautiful browser available and possibly the best UX as well. It would be great if we could access the tabs by swiping up from the URL bar (just like chrome, but opposite, bottom not top). Using Adguard with the API seems great. Would this be more efficient than using Ghostery or some other extension from the Opera add-ons page?

Please add powerful download options like Armorfly or UC Browser.
