Yelp for Business Owners

I find it's ok I do have clients that use the app to get to the salon i know this as it shows up in my activity log. My biggest problem is I have no control over the images I post. I can't seem to even change my profile picture .it's been the same dated set of nails for ages. Wish I had more control. Other wise it's ok

The default email reporting does *not* include informing business owners of reviews received. Lime the #1 reason people use Yelp is for reviews & it's not standard?? Disappointing.

This app is trash. Doesn't even have split screen support.

This app just sent me a notification at 3:30 am! I have to work hard tomorrow, and, now, without much sleep.

This works well for responding to messages; however, it would be extremely helpful to be able to change the default notification tone so that it is different from the android default tone. I would like it to be difference so that I can assign more urgency to that particular tone (I want to reply in less than an hour).

Don't buy the form of SNAKE OIL this organization is selling. They will not give you FULL DISCLOSURE of what you will discover you have collided with. They use a HIGH PRESSURE SALES APPROACH TO TRAP YOU into what you will discover is a path of NO TURNING BACK. You will be told that you are bound or be penalized an OUTRAGEOUS amount. They will emply SCARE TACTICS to keep you from making adjustments to your ad plan. DO NOT ENGAGE. Or you WILL DISCOVER they DO NOT HAVE YOUR BUSINESS IN THEIR BEST INTERESTS! YELP ONLY CARES FOR THEIR BOTTM LINE NOT YOURS!

I think the owner can abuse the customer with this app because I was threatened by some owners and yelp it self is very fishy the way they do business

Yelp's algorithm for promoting useful reviews is terrible. It promotes reviews from crazy people while ignoring or hiding helpful reviews from normal people. It's better to go with reviews from Facebook and Google.

Yelp forces businesses to pay to advertise with them... They hide positive reviews, unless you pay for them to be included in your score. They hide behind "we have this amazing algorithm...". Really just a company that bought exclusivity with Apple to have all reviews on Apple maps, and now they hold small business owner's hostage. Mafia style protection. We all have to pay to have our reviews shown, and pay for our businesses to show up. If this was a yelp review, it would not be counted because it's not long enough, and it would go under tips in some menu, people can't see using apple maps, only the yelp app.

I really like the Yelp for business app. I especially love that we're able to see the many different areas and locations people are calling from and I also like that we're able to track growth etc. The support we receive from Yelp employees is excellent. Although they can be abut bothersome and/or pushy sometimes, they are nonetheless attentive and very professional. I appreciate the input, support and valuable information we receive from the Yelp team and this app.

Don't do it if you live in a smaller population area! For small business they basically steal from you!

Great app. Just like to see it updated to remove old leads.

Yelp did generate good leads. But I found that I didn't need them as I was getting enough from other sources. I called them to cancel. The next month I was charged again. I called and was told my cancel request was invalid because I didn't put it in writing, even though nobody told me I needed to. Not only did he refuse to refund the 1 month overcharge, he had the nerve to say that he can't stop the next month's charge either. Typical greedy business.

Yelp could not be a worse company if they tried. They are literally the modern day Mafia. They extort money from small business owners and if you don't pay your 5 stars go to the not recommended and the 1 stars from people who aren't your customers get to stay. Shady mother f**kers for sure. I'll take my fake 1 star reviews, you will never get a dime of my money. Oh and the app is total garbage too, always says you have unread messages in your inbox when you have cleared and responded to every single one.

Yelp is the worst advertisement agency!!! They place businesses on top search if they pay, if businesses don't pay, customers can't find them. This is not an app to find good businesses based on costumer experience.

All my reviews showed up when I was paying for advertising on yelp. When I stopped advertising countless reviews don't show up for my business. This company sucks for businesses. Google doesn't hide reviews. What's up yelp....

Taken off my client reviews for no reason yelp is terrible for small business I'm signing back up for yellow pages where they don't take down your hard work

So unsatisfied with yelp. As a customer and as a business owner I highly! highly! recommend not using yelp. Unjustified chargers. Its a scam!

They have let people hack my account posting inappropriate phots of themself. I hate this place dont downloaded im already closing my bussiness because of them.

Paid to have competitors removed from my Yelp page (which is a joke to begin with) and they still show up. Yelp is cancer for small businesses.

It's great. I have a carpet cleaning business so I'm mobile all the time. A lot of people my age (20's) are very shy to call a stranger on the phone, but texting is not a problem. Since I downloaded and started managing my Yelp business using this app I have gotten a lot more work. I get an average of 3 costumers a day requesting quotes via Yelp. I don't pay for advertising so these are direct costumers due to my average rating. The app works well and allows you to edit everything that shows up on your business page. Also has analitics of who has visited your page and their age range. Very happy with the results.

Didn't even open it... after downloading I found I couldn't move the app to the SD card. My phone already has enough bloatware included in the system, I don't need this taking up space too. Disappointing

This application needs landscape view! Portrait makes the keyboard too small to type accurately quickly. Please enable landscape view, otherwise good app. Thanks

This is a company that will rip you off do not waste your time and your money with Yelp for business
