The light works okay for the price and you can use it as a speaker, say for an Echo Dot, which would be cool. Not sure if it pairs with SmartThings. The app is functional for lighting schemes and local music files, though it can get a little choppy. Bulb will work with Google Play music app by pairing through Android Bluetooth right after physically turning on the light.

The issue I have it's that I can't listen to music on apps, like Pandora, only music held in mp3 files on my phone. It won't even let me listen to music that I've downloaded on Google's play music or the Amazon music app. I do really like it as a light, though.

Don't know why people are saying it won't pair with Pandora, Spotify, etc......I had no problem playing streaming music. Works as advertised and we'll worth the price.

This app does not pair the bulb with my one plus 3. The funny thing is with normal Bluetooth pairing I able to use the speaker. No other settings dough.

My Bluetooth connects to the light bulb, but the app is unable to. When I finally got it to connect, the app failed.

App will not connect to light IF and WHEN it eventually can locate it! Dont know if the light changes colors or not but im going to return the bulb for a different brand!

Bought the light online because it looked cool but it won't even pair with the app update it please my phones connected to it just fine on Bluetooth and will play music but the app won't work to change the color and stuff....

I got it to pair with the app and the phone Bluetooth. It plays music via Bluetooth but won't let me put the lightbulb to the best of the music unless I play through my phone mp3 and It wont let me search for music files on my sd card to play. Please update the app with a file tree or beat to music from the phone bluetooth

The app connects and controls the light changing fine, but the bulb won't play music at all! My bluetooth on my phone is paired and everything, any tips?

App is good for what is worth. I wish that you could link your bluetooth sound to multiple bulbs at once.

This app is completely useless. It doesn't even connect to the bulb. The Bluetooth connects with no problem, but this crap app just keeps saying connect failed.

My app won't find my ziLight so now I can't turn my light to a different color and or anything else.
