Lucky Day Animal Rescue

Lucky Day Animal Rescue was "officially" started in 2012, although it had been going on "unofficially" for quite some time before that. We are a 501c3 registered in the state of Michigan.

Lucky Day Animal Rescue is an organization of passionate individuals dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of the animals that are unwanted, abandoned or suffering. We strive to rescue, rehabilitate & find forever homes for these animals. We want to help area shelters reduce their euthanasia numbers by taking aninals that they can not take. Animals that have more serious injury/illness or shelter related temperment issues. Shelters & Animal Controls nationwide have so many wonderful animals & are usually filled to capacity & tapped out financially. We want to help them by taking animals they can not.

Lucky Day Animal Rescue strives to be an asset to the community by providing temporary homes/medical care to the animals in need. We feel every animal deserves a loving family, a warm bed & a second chance at life, regardless of breed, age or injury.

We STRONGLY believe in the importance of spaying & neutering to help reduce pet overpopulation & will try to educate on the importance of this whenever possible! Always opt to adopt from your local shelter/rescue! They all have so many wonderful animals waiting for their forever home!
