APomodoro - Todo + Timer

APomodoro is a productivity tool that combines the features of a traditional to­-do list with the features of the effective modern Pomodoro timer technique. There are three main components to this app:

The Pomodoro Timer
The timer, based on the Pomodoro technique, breaks down tasks into intervals (default = 25 minutes) separated by short breaks. The Pomodoro time management method operates on the premise that frequent breaks help to improve mental agility, thus improving overall productivity. You can use the Pomodoro timer in conjunction with a To­-do list or in 'Freemode' - ­the mode in which a to-­do list has not been created and/or no task is assigned to the timer. With a to­do list, the timer will automatically load each subsequent uncompleted task from your to-­do list with its selected duration of time. To improve focus and flow, physical stimuli, such as a ticker and an alarm can be added by changing the options on the app’s settings page. There is also an option to keep the display on while the timer is running. For best results, the timer should be used without external interruptions.

The To­-Do List
Tasks are not required for the timer to work, however they provide many useful functions that will help you to be more productive. They help you to plan ahead and to better manage your time by keeping track of what you are doing now and what you should be doing next. Tasks can be grouped together allowing you to focus on subsets of your goals. You can group them in any manner of your choosing. You can also track the progress of a group of tasks, edit, delete or even reset all the tasks in the group.

History
History contains the number of tasks you have completed for the current day as well as the total duration for these tasks. You can also see how many tasks you have completed over the past two months with a visual trend in the forms of a monthly bar graph and a weekly line graph.
