Good idea, nicely implemented if somewhat unreliable when connecting from outside the local network. You seem to need a My Fritz! account, and its unclear what connection details are expected to log I. Remotely. Application will sometimes continuously requests to connect exclusively through your WLAN. Clearing all cache and reinstalling the app will usually fix this. Basic features such as setting time limits are lacking. Kind of gets the job done but could be perfected

Although the app gives convenient access to the Fritzbox, there is still an important feature missing, the option to add more than one Fritzbox devices. People owning more than one devices currently cannot access them remotely through the same app.

Brauche die App, um eingehende Anrufe bei einem älteren Angehörigen zu überwachen, der immer wieder von Telefonbetrügern angerufen wird. Er wohnt weit entfernt. Habe die App bei ihm im WiFi nur ausprobiert und wurde nicht gewarnt, dass ich sie extra konfigurieren muss, wenn ich von extern auf die Box zugreifen möchte. Jetzt bin ich auf dem Rückweg und muss feststellen, dass ich unerwünschte Nummern nicht von unterwegs über die App sperren kann. So bringt mir die App leider gar nichts :( Gibt es einen anderen Weg, sie freizuschalten? Mein Partner würde auf seinem Handy auch gerne die App von extern nutzen können, um beim blockieren von unerwünschten Nummern ggf zu helfen, aber der wohnt noch weiter weg und kommt bei meinem Angehörigen sehr selten zu Besuch, also funktioniert das wohl auch nicht...?

Meine LTE box 6842 LTE hat die Version 6.32. Trotzdem motzt das app, es sei nicht kompatibel. Ich müsste auf 6.36 updaten. Nur wie? Die Box meint sie sei auf dem neusten Stand. Offensichtlich ja nicht. Vor 9 Monaten gekauft. Kein Support mehr nach 9 Monaten????? AVM kann nichts dafür. Also wenn ein App nach 9 Monaten nicht mehr mit der Hardware funktioniert? Für meinen Staubsauger kriege ich nach 15 Jahren noch Staubsaugersäcke.

Uninstall fritz app1 first, install app2, restart phone!!, and then it works fine :-D

The VPN service is intuitive and works faultlessly. Would love to see the equivalent of this app on Windows 10. I currently use ShrewVPN, which works well, but is fiddly to set up.

No way to monitor internet bandwidth in real time when connected directly with wifi, no Auto login when directed to web browser. Easier to just go to the router management.

Said first: Can only connect with Fritz box by LAN in the same network. After sorting that out, its actually quite useful.

Worse than before! For example can't block telephone numbers anymore. Have to do it via computer. Secondly features are really limited to what the pc version does. Edited: the 2 extra stars for the link via Web. Would be great to have this added to the app eventually then 5 stars.

Die App funktioniert sehr zuverlässig und insbesondere der VPN. Ich habe es aus vielen Ländern ohne Probleme genutzt. Leider gibt es eine Funktion die extrem stört. Seit einem Update vor einigen Wochen werden Fehler von der Fritz-Box als Warnhinweis auf dem Handy angezeigt. Diese Warnhinweise (Bei mir "Telefonie ist nur eingechränkt möglich") werden penetrant und permanent wiederholt und lassen sich nicht deaktivieren. Auch in der Nacht rappelt das Telefon permanent, obwohl (Samsung 4 Mini) der "Nicht Stören Modus" aktviert ist. Dieser wird vom Programm ignoniert. Ich würde mir dringend eine Funktion wüschen, die deise Warnmeldungen deaktiviert oder zumindest das diese nicht penetrant wiederholt werden wenn man sie einmal quittiert hat.

Schalte einige DECT-Steckdosen, vermisse aber kleine Funktionen, wie: Zeit-Ausschalter; Gruppen abschalten, ohne die Gruppe vorher anmachen zu müssen; mehrere Gruppen pro Gerät; Bilder zentral speichern.

Ab und an zickt die App zwar, aber zu 90% funktioniert sie. Anrufbeantworter aus der Ferne klappt nicht immer. Manchmal muss ich mich neu einloggen, um auf die FB über ne Mobilfunkverbindung zugreifen zu können. Aber vielleicht ist das ja durch das neueste Update nun stabiler. Wenn dem so ist, ändere ich das hier auf fünf Sterne und ergänze den Text.

Setup was easy and the app works so far over wifi. usage over mobile access work after the last update fine. multiple fritz box support would be very nice. more controlling features like handling embeded answering machine, not only enable/disable, more like also delete voice messages (clear storage of it) and access system logs. but still; it is nicer+better than the old app. good work! :-)

When away from home I am able to easily manage my home calls and our fritz smart home devices.

A lot of the menus or headings are still in German or another language. You need to somehow integrate setting up the router in the app so we don't have to use the Web page

This is a nice handy app to have but if you've got more than one Fritzbox there's no way to switch between the two.

Die einzige unterstützte Funktionalität ist, zu sehen welche Geräte mit der fritz.box verbunden sind. Und den Inhalt des NASA anzeigen. Dafür brauche ich keine App. Ich vermisse z.B. die Funktion "Aktuelle Auslastung der Internetverbindung" aus der Weboberfläche.

Didn't work immediately however after reconnecting again in my home network it now works flawlessly. Much better than the original app. Well done Fritz ;-)

My 7430 router would not let me connect to it. I have software v6.52 on it so it should be ok? Is there an option to let you make calls through the Fritz!Box remotely?

Not found. And no way to Set the ip manually....

I will give 5 stars when the function to switch between multiple fritzboxes will be supported

Fritz!Box not found The app doesn't find my Fritz!Box 6360 Cable with Fritz!OS 6.50. When fixed I'll give of course more stars. Fritz!App WLAN has no issues to find the router. #Nachtrag: Dann lügt mich das Fritzbox Webinterface an. Dort steht 6.50. #Nachtrag 2: Fritz!Box 6360 Cable, Fritz!OS 06.50. Says it cannot find my Box, which is strange, since i am on it's wifi. No option to set a specific IP address. A shame really.

Missing many essential features for what it claims to be: no option for home network monitoring and configuration, like monitoring DSL, connected devices, limiting access, switching WPS, switching wlan from inside and outside the network, shearing wlan key over NFC ... I think AVM apps generally are miserably missing milestone and design goals and i'm using beta!
