The IAAF Diamond League App, created by Omega, lets you follow the major global athletics series in a unprecedented way. See the results as they happen, explore fotos and videos, keep up-to-date with news - the app gets you closer to the IAAF Diamond League action.
The IAAF Diamond League is composed of 14 of the best invitational track and field meetings in the world. The meetings are spread across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the USA, and compose the top tier of the IAAF’s global one-day meeting competition structure. This series of 14 meetings, which began in 2010, showcases 32 event disciplines which are carefully distributed amongst the meetings. In each of the 32 event disciplines there is a “Diamond Race” with points available throughout the 14 meeting season. Winners of each Diamond Race receive a 40,000 USD cash prize and a spectacular Diamond Trophy but more importantly, they will have shown season long consistency to earn the unchallenged honour of being the World Number 1.

Too inconsistent. Sometimes works fine. But today on first night of Eugene DL it cannot show results and tries to blame my internet connection which BTW is very good so cannot be cause of problem!

After appearing to crash, I didn't realise that I had left it open. I was about to close it, when I realised it was actually working. All works, except the diamond race standing. If they fix that and the initial crash, we may possibly have a great app.

I would give 5 stars if the App included info on the upcoming meetings not just the past and current ones. We shud be able to set notifications for upcoming meetings so as not to miss them - which happened to me even though I have the App on my phone. Please see if you can make this improvement.

While the New York competition is ongoing I get "No live event scheduled" while waiting for the live results. Timetable is not loading. Will wait for the next meetings to see if this is permanent situation. The other sections of the app are OK.

It's very useful in keeping up with what's going on. One addition I would like to see: reminders of when I can update my fantasy team and a way to do so within the app or mobile friendly way on the site. I completely missed Pre because I forgot about the Friday night events until roster updates were closed.

Great way to follow DL action as it happens or see immediate results. Love the videos and news reports. Especially LOVE the Fantasy Diamond Race, which is a FUN way to follow the meets and learn more about the athletes, while earning fantasy points!
