Read reviews thought I would give it a try east of time takes time to take a photo of a new test strip the timer before you can take a picture of a dipped strip is the only useful feature. Then take picture of dipped strip hopefully not having touched your screen accidentally or you have to go back to start. Just look on side of tin and match less time less stressful more accurate.

Picture doesn't align with strip or even match the strip I have! No confidence in test results at all. Went back to my red sea test kit.

Good idea, rubbish execution. The app won't let you focus on the strip at all, if you mess up you can't retake the photo and any attempt to go back a step results in having to restart the test all over again. I agree with other reviews, please let us do the test result step from our own gallery!!

Great app! Really helped me sort out my fish tank water levels and explains what is wrong and how to sort this!! Re-done my test and my fish tank is now excellent! Saves past water tests also for comparison! Would recomend using with the tetra 6 in 1 test strips which are quite cheap! :)

App still unable to take any picture doesn't matter the amount of light! Completely useless and Tetra seems that cannot care less about this. What have you done with the 28mb of update??

Cool idea to use the camera for reading the strips, but the focus of the app is so forced on selling you things (that you probably already bought otherwise you wouldn't have the app), that the main functionality is somewhat poorly executed and it demands you create an online account if you want to save the results.

Worset app ever found out about it on blttle of test stripsandit dont even work with the test strips

unusable.. camera freezes and overlay is impossible

Store finder gives all distances in kilometres from some point (In Germany?). After logging in many, if not all, instructions are in German. Deleted account confirmation (in German) said to use all the App features I had to register again but when I tried to, registration screen said my email address was invalid. It was the same one I used first, and where the welcome and deletion emails were sent to. Link to activate account comes back in my browser (in German) with "Error Please check the URL"!

Camera will not focus in the rest strip and it only in this app it won't focus so not my camera. Would also be nice to have the data plotted on a graph so you can see what's happening over a longer time frame

The idea is great, but the execution less so. It should be possible to take any picture and then upload it and have the app itself automatically adjust the size and rotation without farting around with the app's manual positioning system. Worse, the camera would not autofocus unless I used the phone's camera app in between shots, adding to time taken and leading to poor results because I took too long between takes.

Installed the App to get advice, all I got was the Tetra line products to buy to solve a problem. I can drive to Petco or Petsmart and get product descriptions

Just doesn't work at all.. pity could have been good.

Does not work for 5-in-1 strips

Worked well a while back but since many updates it doesn't focus properly and when you retry to take photo it wont allow you, then you have to start test again. Waste my time and causes me so much frustration

But you have to fiddle with camera too much, it would not focus, and the overlay obfuscates your vision, so it is even harder to align. Also if you messed up the second photo the timer would freeze, and you would have to start over - so it would be great to have a spare strip to retake the 'before' photo.. It needs more work. Also making me register to save my result is stupid - cant I use my phone's memory? I have plenty of it!

It's OK, does what it says. But temperamental with ambient light. Also really irritating if you mess up the second photo because you can't click back and retake it, instead it just resets the whole test. Would be nice if it also worked for the ammonia test strips. To be really worthwhile there needs to be a way to view all the saved data better, maybe a graph vs time?

Love this app, very useful. But after latest update it doesn't save tests. Please fix. (My device is Samsung Galaxy Note 4)

Waste of time trying to use this app. Like many comments the idea is great but utilise the phone camera software for photos to then analyse. Was easier just marrying the strips to the side of the canister.

Well good app and great idea but silly to have the tabs not line up at all. Should have it where each tab can be move to proper place. I guess there different types of test strip size.

But You really need to let my phone to focus. Just let people to make a normal photo and then ask them to align. Would be a lot easier. Because of those squares I couldn't focus on strip.

Absolutely pathetic gave it 1 star because i cant give it 0 without leaving a review. Like many others have stated cannot utilise the camera app correctly. The strips dont line up niether does the liquid test kits...

You need to add in focus to the picture taking all I can do is get a blur which doesn't work, or like others mentioned access to gallery to use pictures from there

Not accurate at all

Go through and when taking the picture, the camera sound kicks in but doesn't proceed to the next step. Cannot complete the test as exiting the camera stops the test. Fundamental issue that makes this app unusable.

I have a 5 in 1 test strip but the app only reads a 6 in 1 test strip. I'm not sure how accurate it is. Would give more stars if you could change the test strip your using.

Worked up to the point that I had to take the photo, I can see a very faint image behind the page but can take the photo.

Would be a lot better if the Tetra test strips actually aligned up with the tool

Doesn't work, take the pic of the dry test strip then I dip it in the tank and then the app goes back to the start every time

The strips I bought (Tetra brand) don't line up with the camera spots. Useless to me.
