Has everything I want, but after a time, I can't get it to start at all. Oh, and a different look would be nice, since it doesn't blend with anything that isn't black on black. As long as it remains just as simple looking ofc.

Widget does exactly what it should. Sits on the homescreen and counts down. Works great as Sony Small App as well. Will be using it a lot as a Portal Timer for the Ingress game. You can get the last star if you can make the widget smaller and/or dynamic in size. And if you're taking feature requests; a quick "tap to restart timer" option would be nice. One tiny problem though; I'm not getting a shortcut to the settings screen on my app drawer. Had to reinstall the app to get the shortcut icon back on my

the Start and Cancel buttons are cut off on my Samsung Galaxy mini due to the smaller screen I guess. I can't read them, the top few milimeters are shown so that I can still use the widget because I know left is start and right is cancel.

I like this app very much, use it daily. Just confused as to why theres a seperate icon for the settings

This widget is exactly what I need for a work project. Only issue - I'm left handed and the case I use for my tablet is designed for a right handed person (as everything is). To get around that I use my tablet upside down with the rotation locked. When I start the widget my homepage flips (upside down to me) and I either have to turn the tablet or read it upside down. Once I start the timer it flips back. It would be awesome if that one little thing was fixed. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Simplistic and practical: I had used this widget in the past to mark when the guest internet network would time out. Glad I found it again as the the ability to do a simple/quick reset plus a clean widget makes this my number one go to timer.

The app is really awesome and help save battery really nicely... Just a single suggestion, if the widget could continue where it left off after the cell gets restarted... That would make it an app worth 5 stars... Thnx.

If set on a 1 second update frequency, it causes my new galaxy s3 to stutter while navigating phone. Other than that, great simple program

T70%
by T####:

the only updates id like to see to this are: to have your timers in the notification tray and be able to set and start timers from there as sometimes you dant want to leave another app just to set or start a timer (such as ingress - the ingress portal timer sucks) lol love it though, thanks for a useful tool

Title says it all. Was using a different timer app until a update wanted network access and other permissions a simple timer doesn't require. Perfect for cooking and things like that.

Also doesn't appear in apps list. Confusing uninstall.

I use this to cut back on smoking. One every two hours. Weird discrepancy if I shut the phone off. It changes to a random time when I turn it back on.

C70%

This widget would be a perfect 5 stars, but it currently eats up far more processing power than a basic timer should. It also causes GoLauncher to force close, making it unusable.

On galaxy s (1) froyo, "Insistent" is a good descriptor - the only way I could stop the alarm, in desperation, was to remove the battery !

C70%

A good app thanks. Well widget! The only problem is that it goes down in chunks of 2 seconds so it is hard to get an exact time with my maths classses

This widget keeps me from being late on my breaks & lunches at work. Thanks!

When the Romulans have given you only 10 minutes to get out of the neutral zone you don't need to fish thru to find an app to set a simple timer. This timer sits right on your home screen and with a few presses of the buttons, it's time to charge the phasers. The display is clean neat and well done,

This is/was great on my old Galaxy S3, but the new S7 doesn't have a menu button so there's no easy way to access the alarm settings anymore. I can work around it only by opening the app through the installed app list in the Play store, which isn't great. Please could you add a settings button to the screen when creating a new timer?

The behaviour of this changed when I upgraded to ICS, now instead of selecting the text when you click on it, it puts the cursor to the left. This stops you typing in anything and makes the whole thing fiddly and unwieldy, just to enter a single time takes about nine presses. If you can fix that, I'll raise my score.

I found this app will reset itself if you restart or Run a cashe clean. Love the fact you can name the settings for times. This will work for you if you just doing short countdowns without doing a restart. Hope they get it fixed.

Left my casserole in the oven and it burned because the timer never went off. After smelling burnt food I checked my phone for a notification of "timer expired" but no sound. Set a 3second timer to make sure and it doesn't beep when it finishes counting.

It doesn't allow you to go over 24 hours. My birthday party is in 6 days!!! I need a real widget

A lovely simple App, mostly what I was looking for. I have 3 suggestions for improvement ... (1) Add a Count Up feature. Say if a counter is started at zero - then it counts up forever until cancelled- with no notification of course. (2) Add longer counters = add days to the starting count (3) As we all know, Android has a problem with timers that require servicing frequently - it was not designed for that. So I set my timers to update every minute and not every second. If I set a timer to start at 5m 00s and the timer update interval is one minute - the timer displays 4m 59s and then 3m 59s. I think it should recognise the time interval and keep the seconds display at 00. With the above done (assuming you are still developing it) then it becomes a 10 star App. pixel

It's pretty ugly and almost does the job, but my countdown just stopped mid way and now nothing can resume it. I've removed and readded the widget but it won't even open for configuration anymore. So I'm going to have to uninstall.

Good for these. Like most widgets, it does its share of freezing, but less so than other countdown widgets. What's with all of the complaints about this widget not having days as a countdown parameter? There are more of those available than there are simple hours and minutes widgets. So download one of those instead of complaining about this one. Many people, including myself, are not interested in day countdowns.

run as many timers as I need at same time right there on the "desktop", perfection. baffled by less then perfect reviews. get the app timers if want anything more complicated. if want simple, fast, convenient, this is it.

T70%

This timer was perfect for having multiple cooking timers on the go in the kitchen. Everything showed on the desktop, each timer had a name, recent timers made setting them again dead easy. But in Android 5 something's gone wrong with the alarm sounds. I've got it set to use the alarm volume, which is set to maximum. But when my phone is on vibrate for general sounds, the timer is silent... which isn't much use :( I hope this gets fixed, as other timers just aren't as good...

I want to give this 5★, and with some small improvements I will. I'd like to see: 1) Fields' contents selected on field entry (or a setting to allow it) - this way I can just start typing in a number rather than having to delete the existing one first 2) More sound options - search more system folders, and include a browse option to let me search my device for other sounds and music Thank you for your work on this product! - Nick

The description says press the menu button when setting a new timer, but I see a menu button and the default sound is too quiet

R70%
by R####:

It's simple and works as advertised but there is no option to have a ringtone, it only vibrates and does a notification sound which is easy to miss. Some added features would be nice.

I use this widget a lot. Appearance wise it's good. Not difficult to use. But there is a lack of options. And the most annoying thing is that I sometimes miss when the counter has expired. I would like more features to deal with sound and volume. Also, the settings button shown in the screen shot does not show up on mine. -> Note 4

If you have to shut your device down while it's counting down. I set it to count down 20 minutes then shut my device down when I turned my device back on the timer was counting down from an hr.

D70%
by D####:

Thanks I've been looking for a timer that doesn't have a perpetual alarm where I need to manually turn it off every time. One ring is all I need when I'm tracking my time and this app serves that purpose.

B70%
by B####:

This app does work well, but if you use it during "blocking mode" hours, you will get no alarm even if you allow the "alarm and timer" option. 5 stars if it were compatable with blocking mode.

M70%
by M####:

Most importantly I want to create multiple timers by unique description and have the option to remove the unused timers unlike recent timers almost spot on. would be nice to have say 10 timers and the option to remove timers from the list and ill give u 5*

F70%
by F####:

I was going to write that the ring tone and duration couldn't be changed, then I saw how to do so on the description page. Odd place to put the settings button! It should be in the pop-up window itself so I don't need to read the instructions here. But as long as I now know, and can remember, this timer gets four stars for: Ease of setting; HH:MM:SS display; tiny storage space used. It loses a star because if the device is off when the timer rings, I have to turn it on and enter my PIN before I can silence it.

N70%

This is a must have utility app. It's simple presentation means that it is not gimmicky. Only the functions you want.

Z70%

I use this widget every day I work. I've had it installed at least for a few weeks. I work at Walmart and it's perfect as we have timed tasks on overnight stocking. It works flawlessly, ty for it!

N70%
by N####:

But I would like it to time more than 24 hours. Also, be able to delete past uses. Besides that, terrific app!
