A pretty neat little app. To edit pairings would be useful. Also to change the scoring system - 3 for a net win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss, and byes score 3. I can't see any way to configure the scoring to suit a league we're looking to run. Thanks!

If you're not doing a team tournament beware. The matches are not random, players are match up alphabetically, and i couldn't figure out how to find the final standings. All and all it was a weird confusing app that i would not recommend

Great app!!! Until round 21...After 20 rounds system crashes. Otherwise a great app for tournament play.

Not worth bothering with. It crashes on adding contacts. There's no documentation. The graphics, entry boxes, don't work.

Is good, but im having problems, when i drop out a person or 2 in the app, in the a next round it olny appers 1 match, can you fix that part lol

On the right track

I would of liked to be able to run 3 teams in 1 game......A vs B vs C rather than just A vs B. Going to have to find another app if anyone knows of any that do this? Thanks.

I like it. Takes time to learn how to navigate, but it's worth it. Would pay for upgrade.

Should make it more clear and this app would be great

T70%

Doesn't actually do teams

K70%

The app is easy to use, but if it also had an option to change pairings or even add/remove them manually, it would be much more efficient. I found the lack of this option really complicating the tournament when one of the players suddenly drops out or in case you deleted a round by mistake.

It worth 5***** if added colours with all pairings (B/W)

K70%

In chess, one player should get equal number of white and black colors, or close number if the number of rounds is odd. In this, some players get to be white in all rounds.

I installed this app and ran a small test (12 players, 4 rounds)to see if and how this app worked. All seemed to be working well so we decided to use it for our crokinole tournament. In the team tournament this app gave the same team 3 byes within the first 7 rounds. The singles tournament had an even number of players. Here we ran into another problem. The app failed to generate a complete set of pairings in the 5th round. We switched to index-cards and generated the next three rounds manually.

K70%
by K####:

All numbers look completely garbled in round view rendering the app useless

This app is handy, but still needs a lot of work. It is not able to properly manage a tournament with an odd number of players - players who have faced each other keep getting paired against each other and/or the same players are awarded byes. Recreating the round does not resolve the issue. These problems occur at times even with an even number of players. The fields where results are entered should be bigger so that scores appear as you enter them as a mistake is not easily picked up on.

Very user friendly system, saves tournaments, and keeps a player pool so a list of players is easily added to a new tournament. The only bug is after adding 2 players from phone contacts it will crash, but it saves the contact just fine.

This app is missing something

Few things needed for a better rating. A way to do manual pairings, a means to have a strength of schedule tie break in the absence of the manual pairing.

U70%
by U####:

It is misding vital features for organizing chess tournaments. E.g. does not support player ranking for initial seed. Cannot add players in order, they go in the list in random order. It doesnt seem to handle colors either. I didnt go further...

K70%

I can't set round results at all

U70%

Has many great features, but the actual results entry is unusable due to being tiny and defaulting to 0.

I‘m a blind user and even I can manage a tournament. I have tested it yesterday. I‘ll be using it on Sunday. Let‘s see how it goes. Very happy to have found this.

Hi Dan, I was hoping to use your app to run an X-Wing minis tourney. I was excited to see a tiebreaker where I could set this secondary value for each player, but it doesn't seem to play well with multi-digit numbers (for X-Wing I'd need 0 to 200). Hope to see this added soon!

more room for improvement. please refer to the Swiss Perfect 98 software on the Windows PC platform

Needs better tie breakers. Should calculate next round pairings based on strength of wins. Etc..

Does a great job helping me manage tournaments in any game system. Love this app. UI is a little bland, but still a top notch app.

A way to manually set up a round when the app only sets up 2 matches in a 6 man tournament would be nice.

I know it's only beta but this app rocks. So handy for mtg drafts and the Pokemon league I work.
