About MVG more
MVG more is the app for MVG Bike, the bike rental system from Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH, car sharing offers in Munich as well as public electric charging stations.
You can find, rent and make a cashless payment for your rental bike throughout the entire metropolitan area and at bike stations outside of Munich simply and easily. When you return the bike to a bike station, you will receive free minutes for your next trip. In the map view, MVG more provides you with an overview of all the car sharing options in Munich.
To log in, you can use an existing MVG customer account that was set up for other MVG services – e. g. for the mobile ticket, IsarCard subscription or the online customer card.
MVG more bundles offers for individual transport in Munich and it is intelligently interwoven into the entire Munich Public Transport System (MVV) via the MVG Fahrinfo München app with information on the underground, S-Bahn (urban rail), bus and tram systems, as well as the mobile ticket.

When I return a bike in the return area, I must wait 3-10 minutes until the bike return is confirmed and I pay for the bike all this time, although I don't use it and it's locked with the cable lock. And I must call to the call centre and demand a refund for the extra time almost every time I return the bike.

For the few saying it's not available in English, yes it is. Mine was automatically in English. Could it be the settings on your phone? In fact, even the screenshots I can see on this page are in English ("6 bikes available")

...und funzt einwandfrei! Mit dieser App ist GPS-lokalisieren, anmieten und Rückgabe des MVG Fahrrads total easy. Inzwischen seit c.a. 10 Tagen intensiv in Nutzung und es hat immer gut gefunzt.

Seit mehr als einem halben Jahr habe ich die App installiert und nie verwendet. Wieso? Weil jedes mal mich ein Bug dazu bringt doch auf alternative Mobilitätsangebote umzusteigen. Zum Beispiel kann man keine Zahlungsdaten mit Copy & Paste hinterlegen, weil die App nach Einfügen einer Nummer, bei der nächsten Nummer die Formulardaten löscht. Testet diese App denn niemand bevor sie im Store angeboten wird? Da hat nur die MVG damit zu verlieren...

würde das angebot gerne annehmen aber wenn man sich per app registrieren möchte muss man sein geburtsdatum angeben. ein kalendar poppt auf mit aktuellem monat. man kann nur monateweise in die vergangenheit blättern. das heisst damit ich dez 1984 auswählen kann müsste ich 300(!!!) mal klicken. o_0

- Uses GPS even if app is no active - It is possible to rent a bike, but not to stop the rent from the app (why? If i rent the bike by accident I have to find it and stop the renting process on its computer)

Die App nutzt durch das dahinter liegende Google Maps viel zu viel Datenvolumen. Schöner wäre die Möglichkeit, das Kartenmaterial offline speichern zu können. Ein netter Bonus wäre auch, wenn die Karte sich auf München beschränkt und man nicht unbegrenzt herauszoomen kann.

I love the mvg rad service. So far, mostly pain-free. The few moments the service had a hiccup, the telephone service was able to help super quickly. Really impressed. The only thing I'd love to see improved are a greater coverage area (incl. Pasing) and quicker returns.

Super tolle App, besonders nach dem Update. Der Datenverbrauch ist deutlich reduziert und es werden deutlich mehr Funktionen angeboten (Carsharing Autosund Fahrräder). Funktionen auf allen meinen Android Geräten tadellos!

First Impression is great - clear map (at least after setting your filters right) with lots of bikes available. Setup with existing MVV account seems pretty easy as well.

Should feature a simple button to mark bikes 'missing' as this happens quite often. It shouldn't display an obsolete map state while retrieving the new state.

Hat schonmal meinen Akku leergesaugt. Karte reagiert manchmal sehr träge oder gar nicht auf Verschieben oder Zoomen.

When I have parkes outside the "allowed" parking zone, The app should warn me instead of reporting "RETURN WAS SUCCESSFUL". It cost me 12€ to learn that.
