Update: 9/2/17 Responding to the developer's question for a more appropriate pricing model: Take a look at Omnifocus' model. They release mobile versions of their software as paid apps, support them for a year or two, then they release a major new version. Users are not forced to upgrade and can keep using the old version of the app. Original Review: The developer tricks users into updating to a paid version with an obnoxiously high subscription price and no extra features. To the dev: I'd be interested in knowing how many users you converted to paying customers compared to those you seriously pissed off. There are other ways to monetize an app. You can do better.

You listen to feedback that is great :) it now states 5,99 per month, which i will still not pay for an app. Would i have to pay for the basic subscription in addition? A normal price for an app is about 5 bucks. Once not monthly^^ It took me a while to get used to the whole public repo thing, but now I like it. This would mean I would have to pay just to use the app, which is not the best deal. I like that you are like git. Increases the open source sektor which is cool.

Previous version of the app allowed me to manage my projects on my self hosted taiga instance. The latest update forces me to pay for a subscription to manage more than one project despite that I'm self hosted. Edit: since the author has replied, here are some tips #1 - this is a fantastic app. Thanks for making it free for so long! # 2 - making this a paid subscription for all features was a deceptive. You should've told everyone what was going on instead of a Changelog that mentions "bug fixes" #3 - the subscription looks like it could be for taiga the service or your app. That's deceptive but I can see how that might have been a mistake #4 - the subscription is super pricey. I'd do an in app purchase for $5 right now, but I understand if your subscription is targeted at businesses So, yeah, super deceptive to change the app like this without telling anyone what was going on. Even a "We're changing out pricing model to be more sustainable" would've been nice along with the subscription screen being more clear like "Subscribe to our app to unlock all the features"

I was really excited about this, until I realized the rediculously high subscription price that is never mentioned at first download. This app tricks you, it's not free. I have 6 taiga projects, and only need to access one on mobile. It looks like you can access one project free, but it picked one for me so I can't even get to the one I'd want to use, therefore I can't even test it. I would have paid a one time fee because I'll always pay for an app, but a $10 monthly fee just for the mobile app??? That's the price I paid for Jira! (warning--the fee is NOT for taiga hosted subscription even though it kind of sounds like it is FYI!!) Feedback for developers: you'd have had more luck with in-app purchases or ad display then this. Small companies cannot afford such a cost and will just do without.

It's a great little mobile app that makes a fantastic Open Source tool a little easier. The authors deserve some compensation for their work but over $45 per year. Maybe $10 or $15 per user but this is a silly price point. We've removed it from all our devices and will just use the native web interface on our instance of Taiga.

Previously I could manage all my self hosted personal use server instance, but with this latest update it's locked me out of all those and now wants $110/year LOL not a chance, what an incredible joke! Can't even sideload back to the old version as the dev blocks this...what an incredibly rediculous and greedy move, so seriously not cool. I have no problem paying for a good app, I'd pay $5 or even $10 right here right now, but this is in a league of its own as far as ridiculous moves go. Please dev, reconsider a one time purchase or something as this move is only going to make things worse and push people away even more! EDIT: For anyone in the same boat of self hosted personal use - sideloading back to v1.7.2 or before allows the app to actually be functional again.

I dont want to enter any data in wiki tab, but there's a home note in it which if opened once from new user account, its forcing me to write sonething and not letting me back to home tab of app. It's deadlock, try to fix it if it's not intentional.

Great App!! Keep up the good work

The app is good and does everything I want to do but all the loading is done by blocking the UI instead of seamlessly in the background. This means it can take a while to do anything and you're constantly looking and the loading spinner.

Missing filters in Issues, also was expecting a beautiful UI rather than normal material design.

EDIT: Latest update resolved this. - Unfortunately unusable for me right now as the app crashes on launch every time. I sign in with GitHub oauth and once that's done, it shows a blank screen with my project name, then dies.

Doesn't seem to work with LDAP login. The config.json has a property that indicates that LDAP Auth is used and in that case you have to add "type": "ldap" to the REST requests. EDIT: I sent an e-mail
