The dictionary is indisputably the largest and most advanced dictionary to and from English for Android devices in the Norwegian market. The Norwegian-English dictionary contains more than 95,000 headwords and phrases and 204,000 translations. The English-Norwegian dictionary contains 124,000 headwords and phrases and 320,000 translations. It contains British English as well as American English.
About 40,000 of the English words contain pronunciation, so that you can hear the word simply by touching the loudspeaker icon. The pronunciations have been recorded by English native speakers.
In spite of its size the dictionary performs searches promptly, and the word you type emerges on a list as you gradually are keying in the letters. As the word you are searching for appears in the word list, you can immediately see the translation.
If the word has several meanings, or you would like to see more details about it, you can touch the word and see all the details - e.g. other possible translations, phrases and text examples, inflected forms etc.
You can search with wildcards: ? for an arbitrary letter; * for 0 or more arbitrary letters.
Also see the screen dumps, which show examples of the many different types of information you get in the dictionary.
Note: The download is done in two stages. The download time depends on the speed of your Internet connection.
As of November 2016 the dictionary is updated to work well with Android OS 6.0, but will no longer be updated.

Hugely expensive and now refuses to update the dictionary, and hasn't for a long time. Thievery, plus only has some verb conjunctions, not all. Rip-off and greedy company. Won't buy anything from them again.

It crashes so much.... One crash per search rlly. I use this app a lot when im doing homework and it annoys me so much to go thru all the crashes. Not recommendable!!

Without doubt the best dictionary on Android, but it crashes constantly and is infuriating. If it didn't crash it would have 5 stars even with its high price, but now I feel like an idiot for spending so much on an unstable app. it only gets two for being so much better than the competition for content. Stability.. You expect at least that much.. I will amend this review if a working fix is released

Great app, but way to overpriced. The low price of apps these days makes it easy to buy them within a click. This one however took me weeks to buy, because I had to justify the price. I estimate that if the price where much lower, you would sell even more. Anyway, five stars because of the content, one star because of the price. *edit I have given it one more star because the newest update made the interface a lot smoother

The phonetic transcriptions of the words aren't readable, probably due to missing characters in the font (I don't know whether this is a problem with my ROM, Cyanogenmod for HTC Desire, or a general issue.) Apart from that I have no serious complaints.

This is a very good English-Norwegian dictionary with pronunciation and phonetic representation (showing just fine on my SG2) for English words. However, in case you are not Norwegian, the lack of inflections for nouns and verbs in the Norwegian-English dictionary is a serious omission (but gender of nouns are indicated). It also does not have pronunciation and phonetic representation for Norwegian words. Regarding the technical part, I did not experience any problem so far, i.e. no hanging or inability to change dictionary. Lastly, I think that the app is overpriced, I believe it should cost around 150 NOK. But in case it had the above-mentioned inflections, I would have rated it 4 stars even at current price. If pronunciations and phonetic representations for Norwegian words were added, I would rate it 5 stars (and would certainly deem the app worth more than 150 NOK).

Hard to say if it is worth the price. Really no competition, no alternative en-no dict, or I would say it's a bit below average. Be careful with this company since they have not updated their apps for years, and now set astronomical prices for their sibling products. Watch your finger!
