About Board Game Companion
The Board Game Companion helps anyone browse their board game collection and log a 10x10 Challenge (or the like). The app uses data provided by BoardGameGeek.com and generally recommends having a user on that site with your game collection entered.
Generally this app contains three different tools for you:
1. Choose Game: Here you can browse your collection with various filters and orderings in order to find the best game for various number of players, limited time, wanted complexity etc. My algorithm will then find the game in the collection who matches the requirements best.
2. Challenges: The popular concept of a 10x10 Challenge from BGG is to play 10 specific games 10 times each during the year. With this tool it is simpler to log than ever. Here you simply find the games you want in the challenge and it will automatically update with your logged plays on BGG or manually in the app if you want to.
Other challenges like the Alphabet Challenge, New Games Challenge and Collection Challenge are also available, which can be totally automated based on your logged BGG plays.
3. Collection: A simple way of browsing your collection and note down if you have lend a game to a friend.
In settings you have many options to adapt the app to your liking and as an avid board game player I will continue to adapt the app from your feedback :)

* Fixed problems with multi-word usernames.

A must have for BGG users! Suggestions include a percent complete on the challenges and an option to randomize weighted towards unplayed games. Since yesterday, I can't get the app to start. It crashes on start up!

Immediately upon creating or entering the tab of a 50 new games challenge. Also my 10x10 challenge won't auto update with my already played games this year. The collect challenge and alphabetical challenge works fine though. Edit: Collection challenge immediately crashes the app now.

Please include an A-Z in the results.of any search. Also the game.length doesn't seem to make any difference. Still love it, thanks.

Great app, I love being able to easily filter my collection. I have noticed that it will crash if I try to update over the air, but it works fine on WiFi. I have one request- I'd love to be able to swipe individual games temporarily off the filtered list to aid my choosing a game to play.

Looks like a great app. I managed to link it to my bgg account, and create new challenges. However, after doing that the app simply closes whenever I click on a challenge. I tried setting it to open on the challenges page. That was a mistake. Now it opens and promptly closes. :( not sure how to report a bug.

I have no send button to send you the crash log. Otherwise a great app. Ideas would include listing game search results A to Z and also being able to mark a game as an expansion and to have it showing indented under the base game, rather than as a game in its own right. Loving what you've done so far. Thanks.

I really like this app but would also love the ability to save my challenges to sync them up with my tablet too. Maybe a cloud sync would be nice. There also seems to be a problem with the first time plays challenge. It constantly generates a list of games I have already played instead of games that I've never played. I would rate this much higher if these two things were integrated and fixed.

After the latest version I was able to launch and use the application. Now I have an app to track my challenges and really enjoy it. I also really enjoy the game selector as it is sometime difficult for our group to decide on a game. Thanks for this app!
