i have some speed dial numbers on my deskphone, but could not remember what they are, so I tried to use it to "listen" to the dtmf and tell me the phone number. But it failed. it could hear the tones, because i saw bars, but it could not tell me any numbers.
Saved me a lot of time while setting up some modems using DTMF tones.
Does not work on Galaxy S5 SM-G900P. Doesn't appear to be doing anything when I hit aquire, but does work on friend's Galaxy SII.
Wish I could decode by ear, but this app will suffice until I train myself!
Did not understand the "4 " button on the phone DTMF.
Doesn't seem to access the mic
Good value for free program, but after 3 day testing is by opinion better another payed program which is more sensitive to decode and with near no error decoding from FM repeaters + possibility to send DTMF from keypad or from memory.
Interprets a constant tone as a sequence of numbers.
Does nothing on Galaxy S4
Great for testing dtmf tones over cellular connections.
I do a few hacking challenges with a few friends of mine every so often and I am the one who does most of the phone stuff. This app is a great little tool that I use when I don't have my laptop around to see what DTMF tones are being played back in recordings or such. Best part about it is that it is free.
I tried for 30 minutes to extract 2 sets of digits and watched the display miss digits completely, double or triple others, and give erroneous numbers on some!
Exactly what I wanted and it works great. Many thanks.
I was just having thus idea the other day and Thank you Rafael for your efforts
HTC DNA , no operation.
Doesn't work on Galaxy S5 at all
I love the idea, but couldn't get it to display any numbers. All I saw was a graphic display that is as hard to decipher as listening to the audio.
App can not be moved to SD memory
Says free but its a time demo
It's a great help for me at my everyday.
Life saver for a telephone tech
its just bad app
