About Cultura Profetica

Cultura Profética es una banda de músicos puertorriqueños formada en el 1996, con una carrera internacional en pleno crecimiento. Está dirigida por Willy Rodríguez, Omar Silva, Eliut González y Boris Bilbraut. Tienen 8 producciones discográficas y se han presentado en los mayores foros de las ciudades más importantes de Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos.

Conscientes de las realidades socio-políticas de su Puerto Rico natal y la geopolítica en general, deciden levantar su inspiración en favor de la libertad, la igualdad, la naturaleza y el amor, a través de canciones motivadoras y originales. Armadas con buen sentido poético, sus creaciones resultan frescas y espontáneas, con carácter contemporáneo y valor universal.

Cultura Profética no limita su estética con sellos o clasificaciones musicales estrictas. Aunque la base musical es el “reggae roots”, son muy perceptibles los toques armónicos del jazz, el funk y la electronica, además de los ritmos de hip hop, ska, la música brasileña y una indiscutible síntesis de las raíces afro-caribeñas en general, incursionando incluso en el “world music”. La textura es rica en disonancia y ritmo. En fin, logran un sonido muy peculiar que ha sido admirado por grandes cantidades de artistas, músicos, ingenieros y los más grandes exponentes del reggae en el ámbito internacional.

About Culture Prophetic

Prophetic culture is a Puerto Rican musicians band formed in 1996, with a growing international career. It is directed by Willy Rodriguez, Omar Silva, Eliut Boris Gonzalez and Bilbraut. They have 8 record productions and have been presented in major forums of the most important cities in Latin America and the United States.

 Aware of the socio-political of his native Puerto Rico and geopolitics in general, decide realities raise his inspiration for freedom, equality, nature and love, through motivating and original songs. Armed with good poetic sense, his creations are fresh and spontaneous, with contemporary character and universal value.

 Prophetic culture does not limit its aesthetics with seals or strict musical classifications. Although the musical base is the "reggae roots" are very noticeable harmonic touches of jazz, funk and electronica, in addition to the rhythms of hip hop, ska, Brazilian music and an indisputable synthesis of Afro-Caribbean roots in overall, even dabbling in the "world music".
