[root] AirAudio - stream your music!

It's as simple to connect to wireless speakers as bluetooth is. Advantage is the audio compression isn't as much (if at all?) using DLNA/Airplay as it is with Bluetooth. It's great not to be forced to use a vendors media application to listen to or watch my media. I'm not tied to an ecosystem other than android of course but I'm using Foobar to browse and play my music. This app just replaces the wire between phone and speakers. This app has good configuration options too and has become essential to have on my phone now.

Anyone else having the problem of buying this app and the beeping still continuing? Then it asked you to buy it again and errors?

Makes it very easy to stream all audio to Sonos or other sound systems. Works out of the box, but has a lot of options to customize.

Uses battery when not connected to WiFi. Should only work when connected to a selected WiFi network

Not working with magisk. Root privileges are given but the app does not detect it and does not switch to system audio. Please fix.

Doesn't work with the latest apple TV... making it useless

Got this on 3 devices and allows non premium spotify to sonos on rooted phones and tablets. You can also multicast cross platform with variable delays. Awesome bit of software which saved me hundreds on sonos connect.

Works at a glance with jbl l8&l16 and xiaomi mi4 marshmellow android 6.0.1 as well with mipad kitkat android 4.4.4 & TV box, kodi. Thanks for great work - I enjoy listening every day - well worth to buy. A profile (save sound settings) and a group function (group >=2 receivers) would be a nice feature for the roadmap of airaudio.

Amazing! Tied all my wireless devices together, Chromecasts, Chromecast audios, airplay and snow devices playing music in sync. Definitely worth the price!

Been using this for a while on several devices for multi-room audio. Android 8 (Oreo) broke it, but checked for an update and AirAudio already had a fix. Great job, guys!

Brilliant app of your device is rooted.... Simply and effectively allows you to throw your music to any properly considered WiFi speaker using airplay, DLNA, or cast. Personally...I love it

Best app I have found to cast music from any stream or save

Try a different App. From 5 to 1 Star. I WAS very impressed with AirAudio's reliability. Recently the App updated and one of my Denon speakers failed to work. The App connects but nothing plays so I rebooted both, several time and even tried my Nexus 7 but nothing worked, one dead Denon. However a competitors App connects faster and plays perfectly without any problems. Sadly I contacted the developer via email and no reply. VERY DISAPPOINTED to be left high and dry.

Thinks I am denying root privileges, when I am always granting them. I am using an OS that comes already rooted, I did not use SuperSU root method etc. Root detection apps and other root enabled apps have no issue with this root installation.

Perfect! Streams from any app, even Amazon to Chromecast, to any device simultaneously. Can stream to Roku, smart TV, Chromecast at the same time. One of the best apps I've ever found. This app alone is reason enough to root the phone.

Works great just a shame your device has to be rooted first.

I'm using it to cast my microphone to my Google home and it works flawlessly. Even without being rooted!

I use it with numerous AirPlay and AirMusic devices (like the Yamaha R-N602 Audio receiver). The latest version of this app added even more enhancements and is solid. Nice visual design, too. Great job! =:)

I'm pretty frugal and have been looking for a dlna/upnp player for months and I keep coming back to this app. It's just simple and it works! No need to keep two sets of playlist in different players. No need to swap apps if you're going from headphones to stereo and back. No need to have multiple music apps to do everything that this app casts to. Truly a fantastic app and worth the money! Wish I had bought it a month ago so I didn't have to listen to that beep! XD Edit: Rooted Nexus 5 on android 5.0

Tested many streaming apps, many have their flaws, none played gapless perfectly so far. With AirAudio I can use my favourite player (gapless playback, hires audio) and stream effortlessly to my devices. AirPlay support is a breeze. Dev is very helpful and with the beta module for Magisk, it works even as a systemless install. Worth every cent.

Brilliant. Before I had this app I had to individually configure app every time I wanted to cast music, often needing to work through 2 apps. It works smoothly and is easy to set up. Thanks you devs. This is great.
