SkolApp Kalmar samlar information och tjänster som riktar sig till skolornas elever och vårdnadshavare i en app. I appen ställer man in önskad skola, och får då nedanstående information för den skolan. Samtliga grundskolor i Kalmar kommun ingår i appen.

Kalmar kommun arbetar utifrån närhetsprincipen, dvs att skolorna ska ligga närmare hemmet ju yngre eleven är, därför ligger skolor som har förskoleklass upp till årskurs sex i samhällen runt om i Kalmar kommun, medan högstadieskolorna är koncentrerade till stadskärnan eller större samhällen.
