About Flood Alerts
Displays flood warning data from the Environment Agency for England and Wales, full list showing warning severity, 3 day forecast, plus a Google Map displaying all alerts.
The app uses Environment Agency flood and river level data from the real-time data API (Beta), in the unlikely event that the Environment Agency stop releasing the data the app will no longer function. Unfortunately the service does not include full flood warnings for the whole of the UK, only England (it did used to include Wales but the Environment Agency in Wales has become part of Natural Resources Wales).

I've only just downloaded this app, yet I am already impressed with it; something which is very rare for me to say! It has alerted me to the possibility of groundwater flooding in my area, something which the lacklustre local media have so far failed to do.
