Free delivery tariff from R250 to R450 is messed up... Loot and Raru here I come...

The app FORCES you to update when a new version arrives. Not good practice IMHO.

This app sucks, the increase in amount you spend for free delivery is ridiculous. The period in which delivery takes place is insane. I don't think I'll be shopping on takealot again. Other online stores take far less time to deliver goods. Takeakots customer service is terrible.

Can shop anywhere any time app getting better also only site I use with confidence

It's a great app and so for online shopping. Yeah the free delivery went from R250 to R450 but remember guys Inflation made them do it. As the rand gets weaker shipping aswell as courier gets more exspensive. If they don't do it they will suffer a loss and might have to close. Yeah it would have been nice to have been notified of the change but come on guys be reasonable

The app is great but when it comes to checking when parcel/good will be delivered it just says scheduled on the app's track order. Then I have to go online to check it their on the full website for what time the package will be delivered the main thing being the app doesn't show time and day delivery will happen it just says scheduled. Thanks and hope you guys can fix it.

Doesn't take much brain power to navigate around this app. Useful to quickly check the daily deals (not that they interest me any longer with the new free delivery only for purchases over R450). The search function is useful so you don't have to use the categories which becomes somewhat tedious.

First free delivery. Now you pay, which it fine but then the minimum amount to spend for free delivery hikes everytime one blinks. Not to mention the delivery is late and in need of constant checks. We've even had a delivery off and old somewhere boxes where under a ground sheet rolling around.

The app is easy to use and very hard not to buy everything. I only have one suggestion to improve the app. Maybe I didn't find it, but it would hold a 5 star review. Sharing your wishlist with family and friends. That way people know what to buy for you. Thank you and hope you can makr the improvement.

Im a loyal takealot customer, and always check daily deals. Prefer buying on takealot than shopping malls. Now with free delivery jumping from R250 to R450, i will not be shoppong here much, this will lose alot of customers. There goes downfall of this company

Takealot has always been awesome but now I am very disappointed with the free delivery tariff change from R250 to R450 that is really an unreasonable increase. I have used Takealot quite extensively vs actual shopping malls as it is much more convenient and cost effective. However this tariff increase could very well force me back to the shopping malls.

Takealot from my fave app to my least. You guys make enough money so stop being greedy and change your free delivery back to 250 or at least 300. 450 is just a joke.

As a loyal customer, I am highly disappointed. I've recommend takealot to all my friends and family and I've spoken extensively about it, it may be a few Rands cheaper but it's quick and convenient not to mention free delivery on orders from r250, which is awesome. Now they've somehow increased this to r450? No one was given notice of this. It's just something that happen all of a sudden, no warning which is really unprofessional. Doesn't seem worth buying anymore. Will actually work out cheaper buying from a local store. I noticed that takealot does not reply to negative comments. Only the good ones. And since this is a major problem that almost all consumers are having I hope something will be done about this

The free delivery just got ridiculous. I now use the app's pricing to find alternative stores with better pricing. Look at my shopping history... I will hardly be buying from takealot. Dont be a "spur" lol.

Very nice app. No more free delivery for app users and also now its gona up to 450 or more for free delivery. The odds and ends that people love to get from take alot will be decreasing considerably because of this

Don't know what all the complains are about, maybe its because I always make purchases worth more than a grand at a time. Plus let's reconsider, some people live far from city centers and that makes the out going low free delivery tariff in the sight of increasing goods pricess and fuel costs unsustainable. This is also a business hoping to make descent profit margins... I commend you Takealot, your ability to deliver on time and before schedule is impressive. I do wish to see more variety in what you sell... I'd like to see niche fragrances, more variety on your casual clothing not only sporting goods and more everything... Find a way of working with the leading retailers and the other small businesses, pitch and poach them in, you delivery system is the stuff of legends... I'd like to see imports more imports exclusive to takealot... Just more of everything.... Continue growing and making this a hub for a shopper.... I SO LOVE YOU! WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Sheesh what happened with the delivery? Not even an email to notify loyal customers about changes? 250 to 450 for free delivery is quite a jump. Very disappointed. Loved take alot

Excellent app, Takealot has been my number go to for online shopping for years now, but that's gonna change with the unannounced increase in delivery....from over R250 to OVER R450? Why don't I just buy from other online retailers or go to an actual store, is that what Takealot wants?

Still no pre orders on movies and tv shows..... Annoying as hell having to go to the web page to order this stuff... Please update it's been years now since you made the app with such a big flaw. Developers not interested in updating app getting very antiquated

The apps works well, I suppose. But my Gripe is with Takealot themselves, they changed their long standing policy of FREE shipping on orders over R250 to FREE shipping on orders over R450. That's not cool!

I am very dissapointed with the free delivery amount going up..I use to only buy from you for that reason. But it's now going to decrease alot!!! Takealot you have let us down!!!

Changed my 5 star rating to 2 stars...simply because of your ridiculous increase on free delivery...pathetic to say the least!!Now I can just as well buy from other online shops

Loved it - not anymore. What is up with that free delivery hike? Pity takealot, just when you had a good thing going.

Search UI needs some major rework. 1. You done need to open an Activity every time you click on search 2. You can't see the text in the search, I would suggest looking into Material SearchViews

Great app and store. Just the delivery service sucks big time. Always had issues when it came to delivery and recent orders of perfumes are definitely fake.

I have one problem. The estimated delivery date is of it us ALWAYS a day earlier than I expected. This is amazing ☺️

absolutely ludicrous that you only qualify for free delivery after spending R450. Plus, normal delivery is now R60 from R35. These thieves even own the courier company.

I loved takealot. But delivery sky rocketed , basically dubbled... might as well use other online shops now

Slow, unresponsive and fails to let me rate products that I've purchased. I also dont like how they scrath out the "before price" we all know thats just rubbish lies to make things look cheaper when they are still more expensive than the shops

If you had to increase the min purchase amount that qualifies for free delivery, R350 would have been more appropriate. Please reconsider.
