DiveMax Nitrox is a fast and incredibly simple mobile dive planner that provides safe dive plans for recreational divers who plan their own dives. DiveMax Nitrox is designed especially for those who are diving with air that is enriched with 32% of oxygen. It also allows the user to modify the plan in real-time.
Picture yourself on the deck of a dive boat. It’s a sunny morning and the ocean is calm and inviting. You and your diving group are getting ready to jump in the water. The others pick up their RDP tables, pens and papers and start calculating their first dive. You take your smartphone, open DiveMax and with a few simple finger strokes plan safe dives for the whole day within just 20 seconds. You and your buddy can hit the waters before the others have even finished planning their first dive.
Picture yourself back on the boat after the first dive. You followed a turtle a little deeper than you had planned or stayed a bit longer in the maximum depth, so now you need to modify the plan for the following dives. While the others need to erase the old plans and start over with the RDP tables, you go back to your DiveMax plan and simply move the first diver according to the executed dive, and DiveMax automatically calculates the effects on the subsequent dives. With the updated dive plan quickly taken care of, you can take it easy and enjoy the break until it is time to dive again.

Simply touch the diver with your finger to move him; DiveMax immediately calculates the effects in real time and shows them in an informative graph. DiveMax also clearly indicates when your plan is safe and executable.
SAFE
Calculations on effects of nitrogen pressure in tissues are based on Dr. Albert A. Bühlmann's decompression algorithm, the same algorithm used in dive computers. Compared to traditional RDP tables, planning dives with DiveMax eliminates the possibility of human errors as all calculations are always done by computer.

Would be much, much better if you could adjust the Nitrox mixture. Please fix this, and allow users to upgrade at no cost. Otherwise this would be a great app.

The concept is good and the graphics are pretty, but this much money for something that won't even let us change the gas mix is just ridiculous. This should be the crippled free version of a better app not a paid for product. Hitting refund now.

I really like the overall format of the app, however it appears its functionality is still somewhat limited. The fact that it does not allow different mixes on different dives makes it pretty much worthless unless the diver uses EANx32 exclusively. Most Nitrox divers I know use EANx32 on their first dive and then switch to EANx36 for their second. Other times, divers (myself included) use various blends depending on the environment and overall dive plan. The app has potential, but still requires work.

I liked the AIR version, so I bought this one thinking it would be as good. I use more than EAN32. If you do too, this ap is worthless. Yes, the description does say it is 32%. Should have read completely before buying. Buyer beware. Uninstalled, but no refund.
