ACERCA DEL TIGRE - THE STRONGEST

El Club The Strongest es una entidad polideportiva con sede en La Paz Bolivia. Su principal actividad es el Fútbol pero también practica otras disciplinas. Su primer equipo de fútbol participa en la Liga del Fútbol Profesional Boliviano, Primera División de Bolivia.

Fue fundada oficialmente como un Club de Fútbol el 8 de abril de 1908 por un grupo de 12 jóvenes paceños con el nombre de Strong Foot Ball Club.

Regido por la Liga del Fútbol Profesional Boliviano, la Federación Boliviana de Fútbol y a nivel internacional por la Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol y la Fédération Internationale de Football Association, ha sido declarado como uno de los máximos impulsores del deporte boliviano y Sudamericano, siendo condecorado por este motivo en la gala del Sorteo de la Copa Libertadores 2015 así como por la FIFA por ser uno de los equipos centenarios de América y en varias ocasiones con la Orden del Cóndor de los Andes de Bolivia,4 la máxima condecoración dada en ese país, siendo además creador, fundador y cofundador de todas las instituciones del fútbol de La Paz y de Bolivia.

Antes de la creación de la Liga del Fútbol Profesional Boliviano, The Strongest fue impulsor fundador y partícipe de los torneos más longevos del fútbol boliviano. Así participó en la primera competición organizada de fútbol en el país como fue la Copa Prefectural de La Paz.5 Fue uno de los fundadores de la Asociación de Fútbol de La Paz, el ente deportivo más antiguo de Bolivia,6 así como partícipe activo en la creación de la Federación Boliviana de Fútbol. Así mismo colaboró en el origen de competiciones internacionales en los cuales participó como la Copa de Campeones de América (actual Copa Libertadores), la Copa Conmebol, la Copa Merconorte y la actual Copa Sudamericana.

ABOUT TIGER - THE STRONGEST

The The Strongest is a sports organization based in La Paz Bolivia. Its main activity is soccer, but also practice other disciplines. His first team participates in the Bolivian Professional Football League, Primera Division Bolivia.

It was officially founded as a football club on April 8, 1908 by a group of 12 young paceños under the name Strong Foot Ball Club.

Governed by the League of Bolivian Professional Football, the Bolivian Football Federation and internationally by the South American Football Confederation and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, it has been declared as one of the greatest drivers of Bolivian and South American sport, being honored by this reason gala Giveaway 2015 Copa Libertadores and FIFA as one of the century-old American teams and on several occasions with the Order of the Condor of the Andes in Bolivia, 4 the highest honor given in this country, being in addition creator, founder and cofounder of all institutions soccer La Paz and Bolivia.

Before the creation of the Bolivian Professional Football League, The Strongest was impelling founder and participant of the oldest soccer tournaments of Bolivia.
