Tae Kwon Do Theory

This is a really simple and easy to use app which has pretty much all the info from the tagb handbook, plus the added facility of flashcards and quizzes to test yourself. The only slight moan is that it doesn't go past 1st kup. Maybe a black belt section could be added?

Good app, but some spelling mistakes but apart from that the app is great!! Thx whoever created this app. It's really helping my Tae Kwon Do. I'm going for my Black Belt so it's really good. Thxs!!

Great beginners app to get you learning the Korean phrases for all the kicks, blocks and stances etc.

Clearly the person who made this isn't very good at spelling, pronunciation or tàekwon do I'm a 12 year old yellow belt and just today had my grading for green tip but this is useless. We all should know for sure that 5 in Korean is tasut not dasaul OKAY IDIOTS!!!

Used this app for all my coloured belt grading theory revision and as part of my 1st Dan revision to. Very handy to dip into whenever you need. Good to see the black belt pattern meaning added. Keep up the good work and thank you sir!

As promised in an earlier reveiw now 5* rating. I'm currently training in Tae Kwon Do (TAGB). This a great resource for anyone training in Tae Kwon Do, I use it daily. I especially like the new advanced flash cards and quiz that covers all grades up to current grade.

Theory on hand whenever i have a few minutes. Loving the people who say this is wrong or that is wrong. Different associations have their own ways. Translate one language to a completely different one and there WILL be differences of opinion. The description clearly states this is mainly from the TAGB but the history should be useful for everyone. Just have to read the description and all becomes clear☺

I have used this for all of my coloured belt revision. In a previous version I had noticed that all of the pattern meanings where available. Now the Dan grade pattern meanings are not there. Please can these be added again? It was great to be able to see the meanings of all 24 patterns. Even while a coloured belt this is useful as all patterns have historical korean information which kean coloured belts could be interested in as well.

there are some minor improvements but more major mistakes which make the quiz unusable: there are doubles of answers but only 1 is correct! Please fix or re-upload older version

Very good and very good information but there are spelling mistakes and the belt order is wrong.

Congratulations!! This app is a must have revision aid for Taekwondo theory.

nice but it's an ITF theory....anyway i like it....

Yon-Gae and Moon-Moo are 4th degree patterns in our ITF organization. :-)

Nice app. Except for one thing.... The tags are named wrong. I have never heard of a white tag.... What would that white tag be on? An invisible belt? For all i have learned it starts with white belt followed by yellow tag, yellow belt, green tag, etc. So if that would change in an update it would get 4 stars.... Now i give it 3 Edit. Im doing ITF im training at T.A.G.B.

Its not a bad little app for what it does. The korean words are not exactly correct for each section but closeish.

For those who ask why the belt grading is different,it's because this apps refer to ITF which have some differences with WTF. If you don't know which one are you,you probably a WTF Taekwon-Doin

This app is ok. However it can't handle rotations. E.g on quiz mode when I rotate the question changes. Also half the paragraphs are missing text

Superb app. Just what i was looking for to help with my gradings :o)

Rather useful. Would like to see the 1-5 Dan section too! In pattern section in long abstracts the text interrupts on some limit of symbols. Good job!

Great little app. Free as well. Im training with my sons with the TAGB and find this a good tool for learning Korean an the pattern meanings. A++.

Good App. Great idea and helps learning basic theory. Use in conjuction with your theory book though, not as beginning source. Nice work ;)
