The app itself is the best I've found so far for navigating Ottawa. It can be very helpful if you want events/places closest to where you are but it needs an option to search by the part of town (and maybe date for events). If I"m going to be downtown tomorrow but I'm in Nepean today, I can't search for anything downtown to plan for tomorrow until I'm actually there because of the GPS function. If there was an option to search by date & geographical location this would be an excellent app.

The idea of this app is great but I can't get it to work on my nexus1 and the GPS keeps running even after I closed the app

Good idea, disappointing implementation. From Orleans I can see the POIs from downtown which all stack up on each other making it unusable.
