DJ Bible Reading Plan

Great app. Just wish you could skip through the app. Lost the solo on my phone, and when reloaded, had to go through the daily readings day by day. Took a long time to get back to where we left off.

This is my favorite Bible reading app. I love the balance of the DJ reading plan, and the convenience of the audio narration.

Love it. I was looking for something like this. Is there a way I can share the app?

I have used this app for several years and I love it. I have an android cell phone and a couple of tablets and I use it on all of them. Once I figured out the technology of using Dropbox to sync across all my devices, I always have an up-to-date record with me. Now wherever I find myself with time on my hands, I can either read or listen. I love it! I have 3 grandsons who came to Gramma's house this past summer and we talked about the importance of reading God's Word daily. We are blessed that they are growing up in homes that honor God already, but it's important for grandparents to add that other layer of Deut 11:18, 19 and I encouraged them to put DJ Bible Reading on their tablets. We talk about what we've read or listened to when we visit. As a retired pastor's wife, I spent years urging our church people to read the Bible and now, it is so easy, I say, "God's Word will read itself to you! No excuses."

The plan is excellent, and having an option to have it read aloud just makes it better

I wish I could save a cache to be read offline instead of using data or WiFi. Other than that, I love it. I've used many plans over the years, but this has been my favorite for decades.

The start dates reset for all topics. Two days later just the epistles reset.

Problem, I can't get the sound facility to work on my LG G2!

Text is tiny, with no way to expand size or change font... UNLIKE what is shown here on the sample screens. Audio is good and clear though and it's real easy to follow the reading plan. Sort out text issue please, or i'll be forced to uninstall.

What's up with this??! needs fixed! force closed. I used this plan all last year & again this year until the suggested update & now it doesn't work!

I lost my last reading point after installing the update. And there is no preferences to go back to my last bookmarks. :(

I have been using this app since jan1st and have loved it! It tolf me to do an update last week, which I did.....and when I went back to the app it had erased everything I had already read. Very disappointing to not be able to know what point I was at.

all devices are a bit different, but if the audio read functions on yours, it sounds great ! the dates can be difficult. if you fall behind, this can be a barrier to getting back in (not 'catching up' but getting back in -- re-starting TODAY as if you had never missed) sadly there is no way to jump in at ''today's reading'', so starting after the year has begun can be difficult

After a year of sporadic Bible reading, this app has renewed my consistency. The start date can be modified, so if you get the app halfway through the year you can still start the plan at Genesis on June 1. And if you miss a handful of days and want to reset it to today's reading, you can do that through the preferences as well. My only complaint is that you have to have an internet connection to use it. I use it on a wifi-only tablet (no 3G or 4G), so I can't use it to read the Bible when I'm away from home.

Can't change starting date from 2011 and no 2013 year in deadline..

I'd love to be able to quickly set to show a specific date, and to check off on the home screen. I read in my physical Bible.

I read the comments about others doing the update & losing their place..... I should have listened to the warnings

Have used this plan for years already and I'm so glad to see it has an app! I do wish you could choose from more translations though. I've always like NASB.

Was really wanting the audio to work but forces closed...HTC hero..awesome if u could fix :0)

Only complaint is that I would like to change bible versions but otherwise great app that is simple to use and not overly complicated. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for its inability to change bible versions. As Michelle mentioned below it is difficult at first to figure out how to change dates but here is how you do it... You cannot have your starting date in the future, try starting yesterday, simple as that. Dont let her negative review fool you, this app is legit.

Awesome format, enjoyable pace, audio is excellent! Would like a kjv version. Near perfect.

It reset itself before I had finished it which was annoying. I like to read the plan over two years - doing two sections a year - but this app isn't flexible enough to allow that.

You cant change the dates worth a flip! I could not get past this to see if it was a good app or not. No more time to waste with it.

Started reading in January, just updated today and it started me frm the beginning!!! Now I have to go thru all the pages and click completed. Very upset

Great to have make-up days, easy to keep up and although I have started reading the Bible before with the intention of reading it within the year, this is the first time I ACTUALLY FINISHED! I even finished a week early I was so excited to finish my 2013 New Years resolution! Thanks for a great app!
