I don't know how it works, I didn't expect it to work, so I don't think it's a placebo effect. However the free tracks that I have tried work wonderfully, I feel like my brain is literally being washed of stress or massaged or something! All I know is I feel better after listening to both the stress and the headache tracks. I even find the headache one works well for mild migraines. Give it a try with an open mind--I personally find it very helpful.(FYI I am a real user and this is an unsolicited comment)

It said free that's false advertising it should say purchase with in app not free shame on you. Your adult you should know better then to lie the definition of free is you don't have to pay money at all change your headline then I might change my rating but not until I buy something but not for sure I will so that because you lied in the first place is this what you teach your kids I hope not
