Tabla Taal

Like everyone else I agree that the app is good, except the sound quality. Mostly it feels like someone playing the Tabala on some electronic device than actual Tabala. For instance, Bhajan Theka lacks the naad, Dheeena dhi eendhi naak sounds Dhina Dhi Dhi nak. So if naad is added to sound and some base it will one of the great app.

Lots of bugs. Still very helpful. Thanks Spyders. Especially, I use it during riwaz for playing jhala on Santoor. It plays bits at a tempo of 360 BPM which most other similar apps can't play. Most importantly, it never stopped or crashed during my riwaz!! Overall, it serves my purpose and I am happy that I can keep bits during playing jhala at a very fast speed.

Sound needs to be more organic.ot sounds like a stuttering person right now. Apart from this the basic concept of rhythm is not there due to unequal maatras during playing. Can't someone make a decent tabla app for android

Please rework on Rupak Taal. Laya(Tempo is erratic). Sound quality needs to be improved. Please give entire octave instead of A to E. There is a break in Taal when screen goes in sleep mode. Can u add variations in Keherwa like Dha Dhin Dha Dhin Dha Tin Nana Tita etc and also in Dadra. It will beat other apps as it has a wide range still. Great job.

The main and major taal Teentaal sounds weird... Instead of dha dhin dhin dha, it plays dha dhin kat dha kat dhin kat dha.... Its very annoying... Better change this tall in new update...

In its self the app is good. But I had to practice in Key of G. However I may change the pitch, it is unachievable by the pitch this app has. Increase the pitch range.

Though this app is very helpful. I think sound quality Should be improved so that one can get feel of listening real Tabla. And i couldn't play taal to the background. So please make this improvements.

Interface is very simple. As some users have mentioned, there is some discrepancy in the bols, especially at higher pitches. Please fix that. Also the pitch is denoted on terms of frequency. Although that is scientifically correct it's better to have the pitch notation(F, G etc) than this.

Its quite dissapointing to see that beats on every taal is missed with ONE pause.... please try to erase this pause from the beats & try making the Padans a bit clear so that this could be used as a supplement to original tabla.No comparision though yet could give it a try...shall be a bit soothing to the listeners.

This is a wonderful app and I see it helping me greatly with my riyaaz. The clean interface and good sound are aspects I appreciate considerably. Were you by any chance also the developers of an app called pro tabla tanpura? Because the interface was almost exactly the same. If yes, please bring it back on board because it was quite fantastic, and if no then surely you're capable of developing something which plays both instruments :) I would be immensely grateful. But thanks for this already.

Very nice and useful app. The only thing is that I am pretty sure that the teentaal is wrong. Please correct me if I am wrong, but according to what I've learnt it seems wrong. Other than that it is a great app. Thank you for it.

This app provides a wide range of choices, but it is not sufficient for practice. It would be kind of you if you'd make the taals active even when the phone is locked/ other apps are opened.

After playing a while it misbehaves and than error in the tune,and vilambit ektaal is not proper.please fix it and i'll be with 5 star..

Has allimportant taal. Has fully adjustable tempo. Just lacks 1 thing that it directly does not set the pitch to say F4 or others you would have to set the pitch by listening carefully.

tabal bol are not cleared as needed, add other variations of the taal, on high tempo it doesn't works properly, rest is good, really a great app. 5 star

Please provide variations such as aadha teen taal.

It's almost good. But vilambit Teental and Rupak taal are unavailable in app. That's make it Very good and Excellent. All the very best for Developers team and that Tabla Musician.Make it with excellences .

Teentaal is not correct. The whole app fails if you can't hear the most used Taal properly.

The sound of tabla is one of the best I have heard. This is a really nice app. My only request is if you could add the beat numbers to the beats, it would help novice learners like me.

The main problem with this app is as soon as my screen display turns off the app stops and there is no setting to change it. It is not possible to keep the screen display on all the time.

Vilambit ektaal should be more slow as to sing along with bada khyaal bt btw i loved this app its gudd u can download this app is free and convinient for you

Also, at higher tempos the Taals do not sound natural. Recording at a higher BPM would be better rather than just increasing the tempo on the same Taal at lower tempos.

But confusion in setting proper and suitable pitch..it ll be easier if u provide the scale section too.

This is what presizely i was lookinf for all these days. I will have too many features suggestion. Pls bear with me. 1. Show the beats / matra animated will b better but static is still ok. 2. Hv small notches for drut vilambit lay etc. 3. Have a section to create your own theka with the bol like dha dhin dhage etc. 4. Some refinement in sound quality. Like teentaal all 4 parts of 16 beats appear same da dhin dhin dha and ta tin tin dha sounds same. Also ektaal is little different. Thanks a lot

It best because anywhere we cannot carry. .tabla so because of this app i cn practice anywhere. But plzx try include all the taal..hope ll improve..

But it will be amazing it you improve the sound quality ... And pitch changing option is great but it will amazing if you can also add option of setting pitch at a particular note

Pls add more base, much more! And it would be better if it could also show which pitch it is playing in. Well, atleast there was an option for multiple pitches n not like some of the other apps. Thank you for NOT making it a trial version. A little bit of improvement in the quality of the sound n i would have given it 5 stars. But best FREE app of this genre available at the moment, so I recommend it to everyone who's interested.

It's very good app . It would be better if u place 2nd choice of any taal.Such as dadra> 1 . Dha dhi na, na ti na 2.dhin dhin na , tete dhin na.
