Yocket - Study abroad - MS in US, Canada, Germany

I had yocket in my old device and and just installed it in my new device. Now since there is no 'already have an acc' option , I am not able to create another account with the only mobile number I have, because there is an existing acc with that number , which is mine but I cant access. Help plz

Its stuck at registration, says number already registered. Then tried the 'Need help' during registration, typed the problem description and app says "Message cannot be sent". There's a problem while reporting a problem.

Best app for foreign studies and no adds at alllllll..... All the university's best remarks, all reviews and live talking to one getting admit,..... Really a huge contribution to Indian foreign students... Loved the app

Best app for those who are considering studies in abroad I would have given then 5 stars but they have to correctly keep updated about the courses available in the university because I couldn't find courses which I applied.

Everything is good.. Except Yocket messenger Sometimes Messages don't deliver..refresh button doesn't work sometimes Try to add some more features like delete chat.. Image send.. If possible smilys :)

It's great to have an app like yocket to connect the students and to review universities. I would suggest to add also program rankings based on students review so it would be really helpful. Thank you...

What's wrong! Not taking full phone number, and not getting verification code! Not getting access! This app is just to be downloaded??!!

Great app. Very informative and helpful. To know about any University I read their review first on Yocket and then only decided to proceed. It gives you all the information that we Indians seek. Great initiative and keep up the good work!!

There is lots of problem with messaging? Please resolve this issues. Most of the messages are not going.

Great and helpful app. It would be of more use and help if other countries were available. Yocket mainly focus on USA. Give feature for Canada, Germany, etc. too.

Great Application with lots of information. Needs some refinement and some bugs needs to be quashed.

Great App to connect with others students who are planning their studies abroad. Services for students going abroad are also great. Must for anyone wanting to pursue higher education abroad.

I am trying to login and your app says switch to data network. Why can't use my wifi for login in?

why do this app need so many permissions?

This app helped me compare my Profile with the college's needs , so it gets a 5 star from me.

The reason we're asking you to configure the discussions chronologically is because recent posts will have a quicker response from active users. Students who are already abroad won't be using this app anymore hence showing us old posts won't be that significant. Also when so many people who are reviewing the app are asking you to make it chronological I think you should act upon it for yours and our benefit.

Its good app with great information. There are few improvement suggestion which will be covered overtime I am sure. Suggestion: 1) There must be a filter for country as each country has different admission process, visa process and universities. 2) Forum has some incomplete questions. There must be a format to ask questions in forum which must have few mandatory fields which makes the question complete. Eg : Students qualification is must...in case student ask for suggestion for universites.

Great app. I can suggest some improvements. 1. If you use the search button to filter discussions, it's not arranged chronologically, rather the discussion dates are random. Please provide a sort button for discussion search as well. 2. The comments do not have date timestamp and it's not really possible to edit the thread title or comments, if you could enable the capability that would be great.

Several usability issues which can be fixed. For e.g. Search results should be sorted chronologically. Filters on searches through the need to be improved. Need to worl on UX as the UI is sometimes counter intuitive

Amazing App!! One very big disappointment was not showing Mechatronics, Systems and other related fields and their information. Also the grad school finder is not working. Hoping for an update soon regarding the same.

The app works very well.. there are bugs in the app.. but neglecting those.. overall it's pretty damn useful.. and it has helped me a lot for clearing my doubts regarding admission process.. :) I'm giving 5 just for the usefulness of yocket..not the app :)

There still problems that you need to address. 1. Unable to verify a number based in US. 2. My BTech Computer Science and Engineering degree is not listed in undergrad. 3. HCI or UX Design degrees are not available under intended masters. 4. Summer and Autumn quarters are not listed under planned term. 5. Still asks for GRE, can't go past that.

Though a hectic process but please try to put more sub categories in the specialization as it is easy to find a person who wants to pursue MS in Civil but difficult to spot the one who wants to pursue in Structures or Transportation. It will make the app a much better place to connect.

UI is neat and it's easy to navigate across the various sections. I get FCs when I navigate to the Events section though, cannot pinpoint whether it's a bug in the app or a bug in my Custom ROM. Tips related to SOPs, LORs, Visa and Checklist on what to carry for students travelling etc., could be added. Overall a great app for MS in the USA aspirants. Update : FCs have been fixed in the latest version and thanks for adding the articles section :)

Hi yocket, In the last 6 months, your app has served as a great platform to connect with other people and engage in discussions about MS. The customer support and regular updates to the app have made it even better. I would like to make a request for modifying a feature. As of now, once notification is enabled or disabled, it applies to all universities. But I feel it is highly important to have it individually. Scenario: Once I have an admit from a university, I am ok with sharing the status as accepted. But the lack of an individual notification switch for each university forces the user to get notified for the universities which are on the list even if the user is not interested in receiving notifications for that particular university. Hope you add this to the next update.

Really gives a approximate idea about were we stand in the preparation for masters. Keep it up ! 1. Please include a filter to ease the process for Spring applicants. Required for every functionality of the app(I'm not just taking admit grad school finder) 2. Please try not to club electrical/ electronics/telecom as one, they aren't the same in many unis. 3. It would be a great achievement if courses offered by each dept. was displayed (maybe from previous years data) and not keeping common to all unis. This would really help shortlist unis without having to go to the college website..!

Love the community. There's always a healthy discussion happening which is interesting to read and follow. Surely would help me in my application too, by learning from other's experience. Services also seem very easy to access and certainly discounted for Yocketers.

Has it crashed? The app is not working. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Not even able to log in. Used to work fine few days back.

Grad school finder doesnt work... It is showing no course found and not letting me select anything. Please look at this issue

It stopped working for the past 3-4 weeks but now its back on track. Its working smoothly. The new updates are great.

No doubt, an extremely useful app for all MS aspirants. Neat UI and very easy to use. I think there should be one improvement in app, For every university please add one more list of user profiles who have selected that university as a Final University. It would help a lot.
