Gospel of Barnabas: Bible

I have just begun to read this Gospel. I take the middle view that it is an early Gospel which was very likely editor by later Christian and Muslim scholars. This is between the "Its completely Valid and Older than the Bible," and ”Its is a complete Forgery by Muslims (and possibly Unitarians)." I definitely take Paul's view over its (in the opening Chapter) and I wonder if the "forever" it mentions in its opening chapters is actually "age enduring" "age-abiding," as in more literal translations of scripture ("Young's Literal, Concordant Literal Translation, Rotherham's NT.”) I think it is a Gospel with a lot of truth and some of the details are very interesting (Joseph works as a Carpenter, Mary's situation is more fully explained) but I would urge caution and discernment in reading it, and at the same time, on the other end of the Spectrum, Open Mindedness. It is also interesting that it uses the word "exceeding" early on, which the Book of Mormon also has an affinity for. Finally I want to thank the translations as well as the creators of this app for making it available. May The Father, Mother, the Son, and Darkness, (Process Church of the Final Judgement) guide everyone who reads it.

Well I am not a religious person. I don't believe in any version of "YOUR" God. If my education in religions serves me i say learn all the ways to the God of your beliefs. Judging this as any more or less as words of a human writing experiences is in itself misinterpretation of the experience within. Just as the Roman, Jewish, or Muslim versions of their holy books should be seen for what they are and learned about by all. Only an idiot would not take the time to explore fath. It is a sixteenth century forgery and has no relation to Jesus or Christianity. This well know spurious text contains many factual and historical errors. Please research my claims. It's an Islamic take book.

I went through this Gospel according to St. Barnabas & clarified all the doubts what modern day Christian belief differs from the originality of Jesus as Prophet & not Son of God.

This seems to be the Injil(the true Gospel)as mentioned in the Quran. Jesus was one of the 25 main Prophets of God almighty mentioned in the Quran. And Islam is the only none Christian religion that makes it an article of faith for Muslims to believe and accept Jesus(Isa alaihisalam) as one of the great prophets of God Almighty(Allah azza wa jallah). No Muslim is a Muslim if he rejects Prophet Jesus. The Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah and slandered and accused him as calling himself the son of God. Did not Jesus say in the New Testament, "I came unto my own people but they rejected me."

I love the book itself, but in this app, although it is very beautiful, the problem is in reaching a page instantly. One has to flip through all the pages to reach the desired one.

In chapter 13 I got some untrue about that Abraham sacrifice his begotten (Ishmael) ? Bible clearly says Isaac..

Many islamic scholars rejected this book as a forged document. Its written in the 14th century and the one who wrote it, was not Barnabas, but someone else who attributed the name of the Apostle of LORD JESUS CHRIST. It also contradicts the Quran and in this book many times it says that, JESUS IS NOT THE MESSIAH, whereas in the Quran 12 times its asserted only JESUS IS THE MESSIAH.

All those that are skeptical about authenticity of the Gospel of Barnabas book, should try Ahamad Deedat book on "is Jesus God?" for further clarification.

FAKE INFORMATION First of all Barnabas was never with Jesus as a disciple but was converted by Philip in the time of Emperor Gaius Caesar in 39 A.D after Jesus was gone. when he was converted, he was given to Saul to be train as an order by the Holy Spirit I also have several books of Barnabas but of which he even spoke about the Trinity and his more onsite Saying Our Lord Jesus was a son in order to make us Children of God Muslims should stop this act of denying Christ because only a son can save redeem

As a Nazarene Christian, I don't believe Jesus Christ as god but I don't believe as a son of God either and not even in trinity, these contradictions was created by paul and many others to mix with jews so they can become Christians as some of the jews believe Ezra as son of God; due to his religious achievements actualy he died or remain dead for 100 yrs. with his donkey and got up after that,etc. then death took place permanntly, and to mix with romans because they have all gods and their sons.
