INRIX Traffic Maps & GPS

Been a Waze user for years...but Inrix has pulled ahead! I checked out Inrix because Google owns Waze now and Google is getting way too much power over our lives. This is step 1 for getting rid of Google...haven't figured out how to get rid of Android yet but replacing search will be easy...Duck Duck Go!

Mixed feelings. First of all, it knows about traffic and how to navigate about it. But turn by turn directions are below mark to extend that app is hardly usable. The major issue that it appears to do dynamic re routing when it is too late to take the new turn. Sometimes it re routes to frequently leaving with conflicting directions. Also, it does not show the next turn on the top of the screen well in advance, making changing lanes in traffic more difficult

I really like this app, but I get extremely frustrated with it draining my battery. I can force close the app, only to find it has started back up a little while later. Even after force closing all but email, it will eat through my battery within an hour, from being fully charged. I used to have a iPhone and it did the same on it as well, so I know it is not my phone. Is there an option to prevent this app from restarting on its own? Thanks

Still the best traffic app/map. This app is great for several reasons. My favorite is that it works with the location setting in power saving mode rather than gps. Also, I am not a fan of navigation views and prefer map views.

One of the best apps for quickly checking traffic along a route. Every trip where I may be stuck in traffic, I check Inrix first - it has saved me from some big headaches and long waits!!

Considering it's showing traffic flowing smoothly on roads that no longer exist, and roads that I know for a fact are closed, I don't think it's very accurate. I hope no Irma evacuees are using it to navigate back to Florida. Google maps is far superior and accurate.

The INRIX app is user friend. I have a question... Are there many people in Central Texas, who use the app? I don't get any alerts about traffic delays, accidents, nor other reports. The interstate, I frequently travel on to work and back home frequently have travel delays, motor vehicle incidents.

Does not work. Does not allow you to add places by dropping a pin on the map. Does not allow you remove saved places. Does not allow you to choose a point from which to start a journey or set up an alert for. Despite all of this I tried to use it in the extremely limited way in which it's designed and it just kept coming up with an error saying no routes found. This may work in some cities but if you're based in Dubai stay away!

Had high hope for it, it turned out the app is navigation in 2000s. Wrong path, can't turn off contacts permission, pop up parking advertisements miles before destination

Good app but the voice for turn by turn instruction works for a while then stops working, so have knocked 2 stars off for that.

I have used the app before many have ever known about it as it has gotten faster and better. For traffic it's the best because it's easy to use and read. That's a lot of years on my s3 and every phone after

I realky like the traffic report around me I have othet maps.all.I.went.is traffic report thats all

The traffic forecast feature is useful, but there is no ability to choose a route after entering a destination and it drains my battery even when not using it

I used to love this app until all of a sudden it stopped showing roads and only showing Green Line a Redline door yellow and only showing Green Line a red line door yellow lines????????

Love this app. Has helped me get around traffic and find net routes that have saved me time and fuel.

Would have been 5* but can't recognise places that it used to.

This app crashes on my phone. Galaxy s7 especially at nite.

Constantly provided incorrect traffic conditions in metro Phoenix area.

The color coding of traffic makes me prefer this app to Waze. I can tell at a glance if I need to jump off the next exit.

This app is what I was looking for. I wanted to save records of my daily trips and confirm the eatimted arrival time and the travel time before driving. This app has all and more. I love it.
