Intellicast Weather

I really like the lay out and how easy it is to navigate. Two things missing, one is a way to set auto update and the second is put in a manual refresh. Out side of that very nice app.And the notification temp is to small. See if you can make it bigger with the opinion of changing the color. I still have not heard any sound when there is a watch or a warning, plz fix alert notification.... Still having a problem with getting alerts.

Not sure why an app called intellicast isn't smart enough to recognize prescott, AZ or any other cities that I type in. Otherwise it's nice, but hardly user friendly. I have to look up the zip code to find other cities. That's not really an intelligent program. It would be nice to compare cities on the same screen like AccuWeather does. It doesn't give you the current temperature unless you hit the current button. Come on people where is the intellegence ? No response, I will Uninstall it.

This app has very good weather radar imaging. You can zoom in or out with ease. It also pops up severe weather alerts when they are issued. Would like to be able to see the current and future surface analysis like is available on the website. Ads appear at top but they are not invasive (if there were pop-up ads I'd remove the app).

The future screen on this app has not worked for over a couple of months. It does not even show rain. Only past shows rain. The current & future clock on the map does not display time either. Please fix asap. Our rainy season is about to start. I added this comment over 1 month ago & nothing has been fixed. This use to be one of my favorite app but not anymore!

I'm really sorry to see that this app will be replaced. I'm not familiar with the new Storm app, but I like the simple, accurate nature of this one the way it is. There are many others out there with all kinds of crap in them--this one offers very timely and accurate weather with a simple to use interface. I'll start looking for a new we app now as they started to disable several features a few weeks ago...

Needs to try longer to load 'map data' before giving up, for slower connections (like 1 bar of 3g in remote areas). Seems 'map data' also includes radar and satellite imagery.... How about double the time out default or give users a button for 'slow connections' to make the adjustment for those who need it... . . . . Thanks. Everything is great except the default data timeout value.

Apparently if you have an LG G4 running Marshmallow, this app will not work properly. Instead of the temperature on the status bar, all I get is a white box. The app is also extremely slow to load. Please fix these issues as this was one of the best weather apps around until this happened. It worked fine on my Moto X 2nd generation, but now I need to find a new weather source until this is fixed. I would also gladly pay to remove the ads once the issues are fixed.

I think it's pretty good. The two things I don't like is that one, it doesn't refresh the forecast if you change locations. You have to switch to a different forecast type (Hourly, Map, or whatever) and then back to the one you want. The other thing is that sometimes the first set of hourly forecasts is blank and the only way I've found to fix it is to kill the app and restart it. Otherwise I think it's really good.

Living on an island like Puerto Rico is tricky as to weather conditions. In the central mountains where we live, the weather is different from let's say San Juan that's down on the coast. We're next to Guavate National Rainforest & it's cooler temperatures & more rain. Weather patterns are different too, they change quickly. So you provide the best reliable forcast we have seen & it has made such a positive impact on planning our life activities! We are so gratefull!!

This app was the best until the app "storm" was released. The storm app sucks, not as versatile as this app is. Plus I like having the wind speed/direction arrows this app has. It used to have future prediction but that feature no longer works. It also used to display current temperature, but ever since I updated my phone, that also doesn't work. Please please please update this app! I don't like the storm app... I like this one!

The content is superb and relevant. There can be functionality problems with some devices. On my Nexus 7, it tended to lock it in portrait mode, for which I had to remove it. It worked perfectly on my Moto X. On my Nexus 6p, there seems to be some functions lost in Android 7. I still give if five stars.

Intellicast tends to have the most accurate forecasts, so I really like having the app. However the homescreen widget does not work properly - it keeps losing everything but my location and I have to remove the widget and then go set it up again to get it to show the info on my homescreen. It will work for a day or two then blank out again. Fix the widget & it would be a 5 star app for me.

This app has more useful things than any other weather app I have ever used. (7) So many possible things such as current weather direction by small arrows working on screen real time. Snow, rain and actual temps listed on each map site. So many more useful real time settings. Hope it stays great!!

There are lots of weather (WX) apps available that present current station conditions, 12-72 hour forecasts, radar data, and hazardous weather warnings. Some apps focus on one or two indicators (e.g., radar & current conditions), and some provide all of the above. The trick is to display all these indicators in an easily understood format. Intellicast weather app shows all the important data, in a variety of visually appealing tabs. If you;re going to have just one WX app on your phone, this is it.

If you want a solid radar, an advanced warning system, and a good ability to predict future weather, please get this app. It very simple, yet provides a ton of info. Had a tornado warning the other day, got a loud siren on my phone go off to let me know. I got to safety quickly. I recommend this app to anyone and everyone.

Was working fine on my previous phone. Everything worked great until that phone (Samsung Note 3) died. With my Lg G4 I can't get into the settings to make adjustments. It flashes, goes black, and then goes back to the main display. Can't find help any where else, so it goes up here. Not getting rid of the program, but a large disappointment.

I often try other weather apps and have yet to find one as simple, accurate, and all inclusive as INTELLICAST. And yes I've also tried the new STORM, but it's not as simple and I don't like the smaller map screen, even after it's been expanded. I suggest you put the STORM out there as an option, but please keep INTELLICAST as well. I don't want to be forced to give it up just because you've moved on.

This app, mainly due to the highly informative, easy to glance at "local graph". Nothing else compares. I use it numerous times per day. Only thing missing is humidity. That would be a huge plus. Also nice to be able to look at "nearby weather stations". Just have to spend a little time finding ones that have the data u want. If this is beinging replaced, I will be disappointed as I have not read a positive review on "Storm". And I won't use if it is a memory hog. Pls set record straight.

This is far more accurate than the app on my phone and I love being able to choose layers on the map, like front lines and winds. Watching the little wind arrows move into frontal storms or crash into wind currents on mountains is a hoot!

Like others, I have used this app for a few years and only in the last month has the future radar tracking stopped working. I suspect a revision issue and hope they resolve with a timely update. Otherwise this has been a great weather app, very likely the best.

Very good app. Have used this service on the Internet for a number of years and have not been disappointed. Keep up the great work. I am NOT looking forward to the new 'Storm' app, especially if it is like the ios app. My wife has an iPhone and she was pretty bummed when the Intellicast app went away and was replaced by a lesser product.

Great weather app! Fast loading when switching from the map to current conditions to hourly to10-day. Great stats page with graphs of temp, humidity, pressure, etc. Data appears to be accurate. My only complaint is the satellite clouds aren't as visible as they are on some other apps..

I am pretty simple. I want my word processor to act like one, not to be my friend who is constantly trying to " help " me in ways I have not asked it to. That is why I use this for my weather. It has all the data I want, clearly available when I want to go look at it, but will leave me alone when I don't. Maybe it is because I am old, but I am old enough to know what I want to see. Good work.

Future Radar won't work. Past works fine but when you switch to future radar all if shows is yga nap but no obvious precipitation or time frame in lower right corner. This worked before but lately just stopped all together. Would like to know where weather WILL be.

Radar views are seamless and clear; however, the ten day forecast has problems. If you change from one city to another, then switch back, it will change the forecast, switch to another city and back again, and you will get yet another forecast. Got 5 completely different forecasts for one city like this. Not even remotely close to other forecasts given to the same area, and changes dramatically every second.

Thankfully, no worthless attempts at "entertainment" here. Real weather info you can work with. They need to leave this as an option, and see how they compare in 6 months. (They may not have the brains or guts to try an HONEST test though.)

Why wont the radar map guve me the option of seeing future data anymore?? Stuck on past and select button is missing. Tried reinstalling - nothing changed. What good does past data do me?! PLEASE FIX THIS!!! Otherwise, still a good app - have tried a few others, but this is my favorite.

This is the best weather app I've ever seen. It returns to the page you were last viewing when restarted, There is a lot of detail and quite a few great features. After accuweather recently updated their app, totally ruining it, I went searching for a new weather app. I'm glad I found intellicast. Minor suggestions. I want the app to open to my selection. For me that usually means the 10 day forecast. Please provide a user control to select the opening screen. Is there a way to disable the alerts?

It sucks that this app is going by the wayside. It's the most accurate and easiest to use. It's replacement, STORM, is only worth 2 stars at most. STORM usually shows the current temp as being the same as the forecast high, with not much else being accurate, either. This morning the temp was 57 and STORM showed 83. Intellicast showed the right temp. Why 3 stars for Intellicast? Because it's no longer supported. I will continue to use it, though, until it dies completely.

This is the only app I found that gives the weather frontal systems graphically, as they do on TV. This gives the entire picture of what and why Weather is doing what it does. Knowing this, you can understand forecast and plan better. Awesome app, and hope it continues its success. Thank you. Revised: Please note MALWARE DETECTED.

It works excellent in the past mode & it used to in the future mode, but now when you switch to the future model, the clouds & precipitation disappear & the time frames don't show up. You can't see the future Radar. If it was fixed, I would rank it as a excellent top radar!!!! I still use it very much, like it is. But I do wish it was fixed so I could see the weather ahead. If you could fix it, I would very much appreciate it. & I will rank it best of the best!!!! Thank you very much!!!! Leonard M.

One or two glitchs, radar map initially loads without graphics (must resize or touch screen to complete loading). When changing scale of map home location shifts outside of true location of home, not a big deal though. Other than that great program

Great app and pretty accurate, however the future radar does not work. Map goes blank and does nothing. At least on my galaxy note 5 and s7. If this would be fixed it would be 5 stars. Also have sent an email about this and never received anything back. Update*** 6/29/16 still haven't resolved future map issue.

On this version, not all the features work properly. The temperature on the home screen, at the top of the phone, and the future on the radar map does not work at all. In the older versions, it all worked. I thought maybe it was because my phone was to old, but it still doesn't work with my new phone. I spoke with other people with different types of phones, and they have the same problem with theirs. Would give 5 stars if all the features worked properly.

I love your guys' online weather map, it seems to be the most accurate to me (which I need accurate because I'm a storm spotter). This app is a great idea and works great! I just wish the future track would work. I try it and it doesn't load. It doesn't even show a map. Just a blank square box.

It's very user friendly. It's also very accurate. I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating instead of a 5 out of 5 rating because there's no way to control the speed of the app once you start the animation. There's also other features in the desktop website that would be great to have in the app. Otherwise, job creating this app. I absolutely do love it.

This is a great weather app with really detailed radar and descriptions for alerts for severe weather. Sometimes a bit slow but I think thats because we are 1.5 hrs from major cities. Cell service is getting better as they upgrade or install more towers so pretty sure its not the app's fault.

This is one of the more accurate weather apps. It takes some getting used to. The more I use it the more useful it is to me. Though it does seem that the graphs on the current screen are slightly inaccurate and confusing at times. I would like to see this issue corrected in the near future. I know that we all need corrective measures from time to time, so keep pressing on. Thanks for the info that has been helpful till now.

Also not working on my old Galaxy S4 so not a Marshmallow issue. I was really waiting to see if a fix was forthcoming for the future radar not working but the app kept bugging me to rate it. Would normally be 5 stars but alas, no responses for other previously reported future radar bugs rates only 3 stars. Happy to change it when it gets fixed.

This is the standard other weather apps have to measure up to. Easy interface, accurate, overlays and layers unsurpassed. The warning choices cover every situation. Intellicast gives you the weather quickly without the bloat. Why retire this highly useful, excellent app? Please reconsider and support Intellicast!
