In short, the Keys app allows you to login to websites using your phone securely.
Keys consists of two components - a browser extension and a smartphone app that manages your passwords. When you want to log in to a website, the extension will display a QR code which your phone will scan. Then the phone sends the login details directly to the browser using strong End-to-End encryption (ECDSA+AES256). You don't have to log in to the extension - you can be using someone else's computer without fear. Keyloggers and shoulder-surfing onlookers will be thwarted.

I've wasted more than 3 hrs trying my phone to send password by scanning the Qr code generated by keys but it does not work. (Password and user id are correct) .. do we need to be signed in chrome browser by same email as keys Id used at keys app on phone?
