Both the reading and search features work great on the galaxy s4 running on Android 5.0. The interface is pretty minimalist, but you don't really need much for an xkcd reader.

Does exactly what a comic reader should do without getting in your way.

Very nice material ui, but not feature-packed. That's perfect for me though. It's intuitive, and the dev promptly fixed my only complaint. I suggest an addition of a What-If section of the app or another app entirely. Well done, and keep the updates coming!

If you ever want to add a new feature, linking to the explainxkcd website would be cool. Edit: feature added! Woo!!! 5/5!

Working as advertised. Worth the $1 it took to get rid of the ads. :)
