L'app CityUser ti permette di riceve, sul tuo dispositivo mobile (smartphone o tablet), informazioni, notizie e avvisi relativi alle città, ai territori e agli enti di tuo interesse.
Queste informazioni sono generate e pubblicate nell’App direttamente ed esclusivamente dalle pubbliche amministrazioni e dagli enti che aderiscono a CityUser (comuni, province, regioni e altre organizzazioni a guida pubblica). I contenuti sono organizzati in diversi canali tematici (Argomenti) per consentirti di scegliere quello o quelli che preferisci.

Cultura, Spettacoli
Avvisi, Scadenze
Fiere, Manifestazioni

CityUser si distingue per essere la prima App a disporre di un avviso vocale (in Italiano e in Inglese) per le notifiche di Protezione Civile, distinguendo nettamente questo genere di news da quelle ordinarie. Non solo, ma anche tutte le notizie, gli avvisi o gli allarmi sono organizzati in un flipboard dedicato.
Non solo, ma potrai anche selezionare manualmente gli Enti di Protezione Civile che desideri seguire, indipendentemente dalla tua posizione sul territorio italiano, oppure, tramite l’esclusiva funzione “Radar”, svincolare la georeferenzazione del tuo smartphone e impostare il raggio operativo in chilometri (da 0 a 2.000). In poche parole, ogni utente di CityUser può decidere entro quanti chilometri ricevere tutte le notifiche di Protezione Civile.

Se l'Ente da te seguito fornisce il servizio "Filo Diretto” di interazione e relazione con i cittadini, potrai inviare, tramite l’app suggerimenti, segnalazioni e reclami e ricevere, sempre nell’area riservata “Filo Diretto” dell’App, le risposte dell'Ente alle tue richieste.
La funzione Filo Diretto è geolocalizzata e consente al cittadino o al turista di allegare alla propria segnalazione anche una foto o un documento.
CityUser dispone anche di un’area riservata all’Ente definita “Informazioni Utili”: qui sarà possibile avere indicazioni e riferimenti circa i luoghi di interesse generale come farmacie, teatri, gli uffici della polizia locale e tanto altro ancora.

CityUser è integrata con GoogleMaps, pertanto è facile trovare indirizzi e determinare percorsi guidati a piedi o in auto.
CityUser è integrata anche con i social network, come Twitter e FaceBook, pertanto ogni notizia è immediatamente condivisibile e resa “virale” per moltiplicare l’efficacia della comunicazione e delle relazioni tra cittadino ed ente pubblico.
