Questa App è è dedicata a tutti gli escursionisti dell'Appennino.
Inizialmente propone la nuova edizione 2017 delle tre carte dell'Appennino Reggiano.
In futuro però potrà accogliere nuove mappe e guide informative che ne estenderanno progressivamente la copertura per soddisfare sempre più le richieste degli appassionati di montagna.

La App consente di vedere la propria posizione sulle carte grazie al GPS integrato nello smartphone e permette di registrare la traccia del percorso compiuto.
Inoltre la App permette di memorizzare annotazioni personalizzate, per localizzare sulla carta i propri punti di interesse come sorgenti, emergenze botaniche, fungaie.

Nella App sono elencati e posizionati rifugi, bivacchi e altre informazioni di interesse dell'escursionista, con le relative informazioni.

Funziona off-line, cioè senza necessità di collegamento alla rete telefonica o internet. Questo garantisce il suo pieno utilizzo anche in totale assenza di campo e senza nessun costo aggiuntivo per traffico telefonico.

L'App consente di registrare tracce anche a schermo spento per cui in questa modalità, e solo in questa di registrazione, l'uso prolungato del GPS in background può ridurre drasticamente la durata della batteria. This app is dedicated to all the Apennines hikers.
