What are users saying about Wear Buddy

Didn't work on my ZenWatch 2 at all. Even though the app said connected to my phone, everytime I clicked 'phone status' it just said 'sorry, this feature is not available yet'. Uninstalled.

D70%
by D####:

Does not really work as advertised, it tells me that I have no connection only if my watch is active (screen on) and phone status feature from the watch doesn't work. I am using a ZenFone2 with a Huawei Watch.

D70%
by D####:

Find my phone works and even rings however, nothing else... this app has a lot of potential and I would personally say hold off till the other features are fully developed

D70%
by D####:

Find my phone is a duplicate function of wear's built-in, but phone status doesn't work on Moto 360. Useless right now.

R70%
by R####:

Phone status option says feature is not available and find my phone option does nothing on phone when pressed. Great idea. Hope it gets updated for Moto 360, the best wearable out!

K70%
by K####:

Needed something to tell me when I walk away from the phone :-)

K70%
by K####:

Status is not implemented, and ringing doesn't ring. This is junk.

D70%
by D####:

Sorry feature not available yet

K70%
by K####:

This app is a great idea - a remote to ring your phone to help you find it. Alerts on the wear device when your phone is disconnected (because you left it on a table somewhere) and also on wear when your phone battery is low. Great features in a simple to use app that's "always on' - no hassle.

K70%
by K####:

....Phone status feature not available yet. So Find My Phone feature is the only working thing. As I have that as standard on my LG Nexus 5X I won't be using this app. For now, if it comes up later then I may try it again.

K70%
by K####:

Have a moto 360. The battery indicator doesn't work. If you disconnect Bluetooth and use WiFi instead, it constantly hounds you with disconnect messages. I swiped once already, why does it keep asking me? Basically, there's better apps for this.

K70%
by K####:

Looks great, and reliably alerts when walking away, but that alert as well as the find phone feature don't have a persistent alert, just vibrates once. Can't believe that that's the desired action.

H70%
by H####:

Installed on my Motorola Droid phone and Huawei Watch. Location option works, but the ability to monitor phone status says "Not yet available". Is that expected for the Huawei Watch? If so, do you have an outlook for when you will be supporting Huawei. I am currently running Android Wear 6.0.

Almost very useful app I like the Phone Disconnected alert, although it goes off more often when my phone is plugged in one room and I'm in another than when I've actually forgotten my phone. I really _don't_ like the Phone Battery Low alert, because it doesn't go away when the phone has been charged. So nearly every morning I have to swipe away a Battery Low alert from the night before - boring. If there were options in the app for which alerts I wanted to see, I'd like it a lot better (or if it would self-dismiss the battery alert when the phone reported charging, that would be excellent). I've never needed the Find My Phone function that's the only other thing it can do, so can't comment.

Feature not available? why do you let OnePlus One users install if the main purpose of this app doesn't work? Any plans on making this available soon?

Ringer does not function at all

T70%
by T####:

Does what it promises with no problems. SGS 4 Active + lg watch urbane. Would maybe be nice for some to be able to configure the different features on/off, but this is no problem for me since I want all of them on. Mute phone feature would be nice too.

Doesnt work with moto 360

T70%

Z70%

Needs in interface for your phone, as when I press to find my phone, it just sounds one notification beep

T70%
by T####:

While the find my phone feature is working, I only get a "Sorry, this feature is not available yet!" message when trying to access phone status. Using a Moto 360 paired with a Nexus 6. Android Device Manager can ring my phone, but the disconnected notification is quite nice. So, you have 2/3 functions working on the Moto 360. Get the phone status working and I'll change my ranking.

Please do the update of the phone status

Wouldn't even open...

D70%
by D####:

The lost phone function is useless. If your phone is on silent it won't ring. It won't vibrate. It won't do anything. It won't even light up. Kind of pointless.

Find my phone is so useful

D70%

A great idea, but it keeps going off as I move around the house, and I don't always have phone in pocket. Just needs to be slightly less sensitive.

D70%
by D####:

Really like the idea of the app. The lost phone ringing option is good but I really wanted to use the phone status feature... it does not work at all on a Sony Smart watch 3 and Galaxy S5. Hope this is fixed in a future update.

D70%
by D####:

The only feature that works with my moto 360 is make my phone ring works, everything else does not work with my watch. The only reason I keep this app so I can find my phone from my watch.

W70%
by W####:

Saw a review saying it doesn't work for the moto360. It does. I only really see a benefit in the find my phone feature since android wear does most everything else, but hey, it works and it does exactly what it says. So many watch apps on google play are being bashed by people who have something not synced correctly. Resync your apps if you have issues. Worse case, reset your wear and pair your device again.

D70%
by D####:

MOTO 360. It doesn't show phone status. It does notify when I leave my phone on the desk. 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

D70%
by D####:

The battery notification should only occur when the battery becomes low and is connected. Instead it sends it to the queue and shows up next time it's connected. All the text is jumbled on the newest version of AW on the Moto 360

F70%
by F####:

The most important feature (phone stats) says it isn't even available yet...

Y70%
by Y####:

Killed my watches battery, uninstalled it and got my good battery life back. Cool idea, but the app is way too buggy.

D70%
by D####:

It adds features that should be Android Wear by default, a must have!

D70%
by D####:

Card has layout problem. Percentage number overlaps with other words

D70%
by D####:

Find my phone settings turn the notification ring tone down to the lowest setting making it pointless

D70%
by D####:

Really like this app for my 360. Works well. Also great bc no need to download a separate app to alert you when you leave your phone behind, Wear Buddy has that function included.

D70%
by D####:

I am almost everytime forgetting my phone in my car holder and this app solved this for me, thanks a lot =)

D70%
