Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY

Was using this app for over 2 years, never had an issue, everything was smooth - just the way you like your devices to communicate, alas the last update has ruined my life!! Suddenly my devices do not communicate with the printer, tried to reset the LAN, guess what .... you cannot do this either anymore, because the app keeps losing the connection with the server....

Ive been using this app for ages without any issues, this last update has screwed it completely now it cant connect to printer, change it back please

Why don't you have an app that supports all your models including the ones without Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Why should someone buy a Canon printer and then again invest in a windows laptop to use the printer? Please provide a solution

Canon printers are the best in class. Here's why : products are built to last, Canon technical support is outstanding, and Canon apps are constantly being improved and work well.

I would have given it a 5 star rating except that I can't print from my Adobe file. Can you please advise me on how it can be done as soon as possible.

Absolute Garbage of an app... . I am debating on returning the printer solely because of how bad the app os. My HP printer was nothing but a hassle but I could at least print from my phone without a problem. Almost makes me want to buy another HP

2001 called. They what this app back. What is wrong with you Canon? Paid a lot of money for a printer and this is what you came up with?! You should be ashamed! Give us a new fresh app. I have to use an Internet page to manage the printer?! Why can't I do this using this app?!?

This app works ok and is easy to use. I rate it only 2 stars, however, since it does not include all the functionality my printer has and more importantly it does a really really bad job of rendering the colours. Photos printed from an sd card look much better. Very disappointed.

WOW! This is a BAD ASS APP! I tried one Cannon app, didn't work, had no instructions, then i tried this app, it have on screen instructions, connected to my WiFi then asked me to print a picture, I said "certainly" and "BAM" its done. It took a few hours to do, it but its finish!

First whenever i used to select pdf files from my mobiles file manager and select canon print it used to open directly and printing could be started. But from past few months when i select pdf and select cannon print app then i get message data conversion service will be used and when we proceed further we get error as failed or sorry could not process. It takes time to search file directly in canon app. Please fix it. Or else superb.

printing photos on selphy printer isn't bad. everything else is just a joke. I tried to scan on mg5720 - quality is unaceptable. scan area predefined in some weird way... soft made by corporations is always the worse... and of course nobody cares for the reviews...

I was a little hesitant to install given the negative reviews. However I managed to install and successfully print an image from my device (Samsung Galaxy s8) in under 2 minutes. Great job software developers

Get errors non stop. Scanned one picture successfully now it'll scan the picture but won't save due to errors. Rebooted printer and phone, no resolution. Why would you make a printer that requires another device to operate it.

IT SEND YOUR FILE TO REMOTE SERVER THEN BACK TO PRINTER. WHY NEED LOCATION??? But When no internet, it won't work. Shame. Need simple connect and print. Thanks.

Absolutely useless. Does not remember printers from one session to the next. I've given up and uninstalled, which is a shame as this was one reason I chose Canon printers. Back to HP it is then! Anyone want to buy a pair of printers?!

Lots of trouble connecting to printer. I mean lots. For the technology that cannon has why did they not put any time into designing this app. Same on you for not being more up to speed for your consumer. Very dissatisfied

Terrible user interface: clumsy, inefficient, and doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I wish they improve the web interface instead so that I can dump this stupid app. I don't think I'll ever buy another printer from them if they don't.

HP ePrint is so user friendly that you can scan multiple pages into ONE FILE. This app saves individual pages separately. If this could be changed, id give it more stars.

Always has communication errors! Print one thing on my Selphy and then get the cannot communicate with printer error. Have topress print x5 times before it works!

Could not get app to recognise MG2900 printer without PC drivers - get printer working via PC before attempting to connect via Android! App adequate once connected.

It works....but it will not print pdf files or 're size photos. Considering its canon its really poor.

Can't set print quality. Can't choose paper source. Pathetic. And worst of all paper choices for pro100 are totally bogus. What a joke folks.

Easiest printer app I ever downloaded, ran it on Samsung's Tab A and used it on my Pixma MX922 printer with absolutely no muss or fuss. I needed the printer to scan documents and save to my tablet, Lo and Behold it worked so effortlessly and easy to use that even I don't believe it! (Works great with photos too.) (note: printer needs to be already set-up with wifi before starting app.) thank-you Cannon

there was a data conversion service error when i open pdf file with your app. please solve it.

I have wasted HOURS trying to get this to connect a MG3051 printer. Online instructions are useless and the 'manual' provided is a waste of paper. Canon should be ashamed of themselves

Really good how you can print wireless from your phone, can choose which pages to print but cannot seem to change it from color to monochrome, and don't want to print all of my documents in color as or wastes ink, I also cannot change it so it prints on double sided, which also wastes paper, I think this should be sorted asap

Absolute garbage! Wanted a wireless printer (for obvious reasons) and after a long long time trying to get it all to work via this rediculous over complicated app (when I could actually get it to work without crashing that is!) I'm actually back using my trusty old wired HP, ironically it is quicker to send what I need to my pc and print that way than navigate through all of canons "please wait" and "jump through this hoop" pages!!...did not notice one reply to bad app reviews either which tells me once u pay your hard earned cash for the printer canon are not really interested anymore!.....can't even get spell available in the "read more" section for this app...

Scanning worked once. Now it just spams me with errors. I tried to reinstall and reboot phone twice. Disappointed.

I'm not able to print on both sides (duplex) using the settings of this app even though my printer can do it by printing using a computer and the PC software. Why is this?
