Just get on line and don't go to the conversation, let it load and then turn off your mobile data or WiFi and check. Easy fix. Read doesn't come up unless you are already online opening it. Dumb app. Waste of battery space. Ugly layout. The icon was probably ripped from icron maker cute app maker because if the dev could make an icon so nicely. He could make such a nice interface.

Must put up with the accessibility voices in the app. Ugly sloppy font and interface. It doesn't work half the time.Just a white screen with a banner. You can't reply back. Might be spyware.
